The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Tusk Force”! — 05.09.2025 (Dev Server is closed)

Yeah and we are likely talking about years in terms of how much it has been delayed lol.

I don’t think so, maybe a couple updates.

Its gonna be at 10.7 then

It would probably be 10.3 and be made more into a glass cannon but at least it’s another vehicle that would be equipped with 30mm APFSDS-T rounds (instead of the only one being a Squadron) as well as it’s armament would allow it good kill capability. Might even just be 10.0 considering the BMP-2M which is better with its higher RoF, and access to 4x ready to fire ATGM’s is only 10.3.

We dont. China does not need the Abrams.

They should probably tweak the 45-36VT some more, below a certain altitude the parachute is extended when the torpedo is released.

They aren’t adding it until there is some form of solution for said IRL problem, which is still a while away.

Also, people have been coping about “oh they are only delaying the Oplot a couple updates” ever since the the start of said irl event 3-4 years ago, which happened shortly after the Oplot was first “leaked”.

Final descent of the torpedo when dropped from 9850 meters. Should probably have some rework, quite a steep final angle. About 60 seconds falling time

Final descent when dropped from 10600 meters

Understandable, there’s plenty left to be added for the Soviet tree until then.

Am gonna quote my budd @WolfTangoFoxtrot with a sentence from other post:

“Israeli planes can mount the Aim-9M so it’s not necessary to add more missiles with artificially nerfed capabilities.”

  • The F-15J can also mount the Aim-9M, why was it necessary to add the domestic AAM-3 at the time it was added with artificially nerfed capabilities? It’s nice to get to play planes with their unique armaments.

My answer to your comment is also this: It was necessary the addition of the AAM-3 in a nerfed state (which is still better than the 9M) to the F-15J when it already have 9Ms?.

you see now? the type of comments like the one you did it enters in the category of double standard. for some nations its fine to do some exceptions but for other nations no? where is equality? where is the common sense?, and this is not an isolated case, there are many more just like this one.

WIth the correction of Armarment of the Flakpanzer 341, does anyone know more about the armarment of the Ostwind II? Was it possibly also intended to be Gerät 341, as it has fall appart 10 Round frames designed for side by side operation, while the normal 8 round frames of the Flak 43 would interfer with each other. The in game Ostwind II would not work how it currently is.

of course, because no such vehicle was every built. its just as fake as the flak 341 & Tiger2 105.
i dont understand why gaijin knowingly added these fakes. there are a lot of different options that could have been added instead.

There is a delivery message, so at least 1 was partially build.

this is a fair decision only for high ranks starting with early jets. piston aircraft of WWII had a clear division into classes. equalizing them in spawn points because of the presence of bombs on fighters is unfair and will simply reduce the opportunities of aviation players in ground battles. it makes sense to apply the new mechanics in relation to high ranks, leaving newbies alone for the sake of dynamics and more “second chances”

Since the required kills have nearly doubled in some modes, will there be any consideration for adjusting the Battle Pass challenge “The Making of a Legend”?

This change effectively reduces the number of Heavy Metal Hero (and related) awards players can earn after the update. It may create a “feels bad” situation, as the difficulty of a Battle Pass challenge is being increased mid-season, after many players have already invested time and money into the current pass.

Personally, I’ll feel disappointed if I cannot complete this challenge due to the change, especially since I bought this season’s Battle Pass because I liked the achievability of the tasks.

If anything it makes aircrafts other than fighter with bombs viable and supportts taking two planes per lineup.

Taking one plane that does both CAS and CAP is still viable.

BUT

Now you can take a fighter for CAP duties due to better airframe and strike aircraft/bombee for CAS duties

I kinda want Thai M901 and the M163 should use the upgraded IAI fire control one tanks are too less. Also later on Type 69 105mm add should be good because 8.3 need another MBT (+ if M901 also should be very perfect)

I have three primary sources for Falcon or the A14D turret that it used, and none of them mention APDS. It used the HEI/HEI-T/APHEI and APICT rounds produced for the gun by Hispano-Suiza.

It’s an SPAA with a single continuous belt, why would it mix APDS into an AA belt?

It always seemed kind of strange to have a mix of regular shells and APDS in the same belt on a SPAA.

The different ballistic properties would render them kind of pointless and APDS is less effective at dealing with planes either way. I can kind of understand the use of HVAP in SPAA belts, but APDS really only makes sense for self-defence.

The Falcon can’t change its belt/feed on the fly, unlike the Gepard/Marksman, so it would only make sense for it to carry a purely AA focussed belt.
