All shells of the belt use the same initial speed as the first shell from the belt due to the way the game code works, so the ballistic difference is not as big as you think unless you get to extreme ranges(4-5km), but at the usal firing range(1-2.5km) the difference is rather minimal

at low ranks, a large number of spawns simply prolongs the gameplay, making it more dynamic and intense. and one unfortunate bomb on a fighter will not become a game changer, provided that the equipment up to rank 5 does not have a ballistic bomb calculator and everything happens by eye during free fall. this mechanic at low ranks simply cuts the number of aircraft for no apparent reason. the balance of anti-aircraft artillery and aviation is sufficient due to the presence of future technology (ZSU-23-2, for example) at such ranks there is sometimes no point in taking an aircraft at all due to the lack of aircraft on the enemy team throughout the game, and at the same time, a twin-engine aircraft ≠ single-engine
afaik the APDS comes from a brochure from the HS831, I wanna say it was titled “Thunderbolt” or something. iirc it was pitched for the velocity and range boost rather than the effect on targets.

I generally think Eurodeltas should be kept from being in any one tree. I would be far more okay with the Brits getting Ruski aircraft, but overall, would also just prefer they get their own kit and Aus/Can/NZ kit.
