M1A2 SEP v2 — the Mine protection modification has been moved from tier IV to tier I in the modification research window. “TUSK” reactive armor is now a separate modification that is unlocked automatically when the Mine protection modification is unlocked. The Mine protection and TUSK modifications can be installed or uninstalled independently.

Ngl, I don’t like the so-called “damage control priority” for naval. This feels like inventing a solution for a problem that doesn’t exists, since players can simply priortize the damage control by themselves by manually activating it. So I hope that this will be scrapped and reverted back to normal.

Now can you bring it back to all BRs so that there is something always available to attack? Biggest issue is the lack of ground targets for everyone. A single large target like an AF (such as we have in ASB) would be an ideal option for ARB

Why would they bother? They clearly hate bombers, which sucks for any of us who have an interest in them, or anyone hoping to see any of the interesting Tupolevs or V Bombers.

Players can now change the appearance of a research nation to that of any operator (using their flag and name) whose vehicles are present in that nation and have been acquired by the player. You can also choose the display style for the research country: flag and name (default), flag only, or name only. Changing the appearance of a research country does not change anything regarding vehicle research mechanics or in-game nations; it only affects the appearance of the research nation. Changing the appearance of a research nation does not affect the display of the player’s vehicle nation to other players

Changes to newbie battles for Air Realistic Battles:

• Some tank units in missions have been replaced with armored personnel carriers so that fighters can also destroy them.

Amazing - the effect of these changes:

1. Killing airfields was the sole purpose of flying bombers. The airfield as equivalent of a strategic target was until May 2020 the sole win condition for bombers.
2. Killing the last 3 bases maps like Poland, Stalingrad or the 4 or 5 Frontline maps (which are very common in matches in the BR range 4.7 - 6.0 - so no "newbie battles) kills also the last option for tactical game play . The zero skill nonsense of bombing respawning bases since May 2020 was the result of gaijin being unable to introduce bases with dynamic base HPs - the F-4Es added in March 2020 ended matches in minutes.
3. Replacing ai tanks with APCs kills the need for anything with high caliber rounds - so a lot of strike aircraft are then useless. Btw - mission score (and, ofc, SL & RP) for killing an IFV /APC is way lower than for an ai tank…

I really had hope that gaijin would alter their course and re-offer possibilities for all plane classes to contribute. Based on these addressed changes you need no strike fighters or bombers - a fighter can do it all and has a way better survival chance…
