Yep, they really are. Just price them to be same as the RP talisman, and you can effectively turn any TT into a premium, minus some other beenfits like RP effeciency and repair costs.
My biggest issue with the premiums in-game is that not every nation is equal.

Well since the 4a’s and 26b’s are both radar missiles, it’s possible they are similar enough that they could be used in the same group. The 26b’s do also have a specific panel for set up, so i can’t completely discard them being usable independently of the other missiles either - i would still like the loadout screen to divide the missiles in two bays, rather than three though.
The salvo vs single missile fire is a completely different argument though; the F102 and F106 could and did fire missiles individually while training, as even though the pilot couldn’t select between launching them individually or in a group, that could be done on the ground by the crew chief. The 102 launched a salvo of 3 because even though one missile was enough for the bomber, the reliability was bad enough that much redundancy was considered necessary. The F106 followed the same reasoning, but with the added trick that by launching a pair of missiles at the same exact time, the missiles would either hit the target or get close enough that they would hit each other, making for a proximity fuse of sorts.

Never seen War Thunder fix a tank based on pictures. They only care about what “1 party sources” you can get. I agree with what you’re stating but for the video game they could care less.
You said that they could easily give the SEPv3 and M1A2T the same armor, but most of the turret armor increase on the SEPv3 came from the extension of the cheeks. Which we can clearly see that the M1A2T didn’t receive.

Being able to turn any vehicle into a wannabe premium would really be amazing
There are so many vehicles that Gaijin would probably never make a premium version of that I would love to turn into a premium for myself
First vehicle I would buy an SL talisman for definitely is the Tornado F.3
It wouldnt have been on my immediate list before, but with the Skyflash changes… It might now be on that list.
and yeah, there is a lot they wont add but Id love. Like a premium Tornado GR4 for example.

Yes they can. Even if you showed pictures of the M1 abrams series tank hull armor increasing significantly (which people have) war thunder has consistently said “no.” Apart from that abrams is still missing its optical detection for tracking targets
I get that irl they are different but in war thunder that simple doesn’t matter. They can simply say M1A2T turret armor = SepV3
EDIT: M1A2T is based of SepV3 (regardless of the armor) so they’re same same but different
People haven’t, they have only showed prototype Abrams hulls with weight similator plates attached.
It’s an refurbished M1A1 hull with a SEPv2 turret.

I did some testing with a friend yesterday and it is still possible to roll them, just a lot harder now. So it will be more reliable to defend in other ways.
I had a nice 2.5m just a few days ago. Then I unlocked, bought, and crewed the M1A2 Trophy and A-10A Late and bought the AV-8C without crewing it. Now I have just over 100k 🥀

I feel like they should just change the current talisman to essentially just convert a TT vehicle into a premium. Or maybe leave the current talisman how it is and add a “talisman upgrade” that then gives it the extra benefits (RP efficiency at more than ±1 rank, increased SL earnings, low repair costs)

Id want it as separate talismans because I dont necessarily want all the features.
For example, British Air tree, ive got most of it grinded anyway, so a RP Talisman is kinda a waste. But an SL talisman would be great. I wouldnt want to be forced to buy 1, just to get the other.
Some features should remain on premiums to give them a reason to ever be purchased. RP effeciency and Repair costs would make sense for that.
Though I would like for SQVs and Event vehicles to get +2 effeciency ranks rather than the current +1

Yeah, that’s why I think the 2x AIM-26B is pretty unlikely as well. So far the only pics I’ve seen have only the front center rack modified.
The -26B does not appear to have been performatively superior in terms of flight characteristics over the -4A, other than having a prox fuze and home-on-jam, either.
I think it could be important to keep in mind the -26B wasn’t really meant as some big new thing in US service, it seems to have been in large part a conventional standin for the “missing missile” on the nuclear-capable 102s so that they didn’t just have to fly with an empty -4A slot on missions like Vietnam where nuclear weapons could not be carried.
It would be interesting to know when used in their secondary role of ground interdiction in Laos, if the IR Falcons were fired singly (as seems more likely) or had to be salvoed.
I feel like the AIM-26B was mainly created to make use of existing stock and to be able to export the AIM-26
yeah even if she was which she isnt she gets more SPAA newer rangefinders air radar and surface radar improvements of a later model and more torpedo protection and torpedos in 1944 refit it also gives germany a second ship at the br so your not out of the game after 2 lives since there so easy to one tap
every other country has 2 identical 8.3s except germany and britain but britain has a 8.0 right after it which is wales but germanys next highest is the 7.3 scarnhorst there only 7.7 is premium and they dont have a 8.0
britains vanguard also performs way better stats wise due to not having instant cutscenes of the magazines
so britain shouldnt be getting a upgrade of there 8.3 already before tirpitz
