Regenerative steering MUST come, but, in order to be the best of all worlds and satisfy everyone under every circumstance, perhaps it should be a mix of:
-Type 10’s low speed performance.
-Leopard 2’s high speed performance.
At the present time, Type 10’s regenerative steering works pretty well in cities, but is still too abrupt for open fields.
On the other hand, Leopard 2’s regenerative steering is suboptimal for cities, but perfect for open fields.
Perhaps the best compromise would be a regenerative steering which allows tighter turns at lower speeds, like Type 10’s, while turning smoothly and without bleeding energy at high speeds, like Leopard 2’s. Or maybe just a middle ground; Type 90’s Dev steering feels just like that- it turns slightly tighter than Leopard 2, but not as tight as Type 10.
Some people have suggested, maybe, that turning radius should be wider when pressing W+A/D, while it could be tighter when pressing only A/D, letting go of W. This could be the key.
In any case, regenerative steering MUST come. Polished, keybind-toggleable, whatever; but it must NOT be ditched.
im wondering rn why has it been so long since gajijn added new drop tank models for more aircrafts bc currently allot of planes are still missing there drop tanks/wing drop tanks ingame. examples being the f4, f104, f86, f84f, a7, f105, a4, mig 19, mig29SMT, mirage IIIS swiss variant and the mirage 2000. please gajijn gives these aircrafts some love so that they are able to fly longer without draining so much fuel in such a short time
is there a reason the sustainer thrust on the 7f and onwards got cut in half, the drop doesn’t make sense even when you factor in the increased thrust at high altitudes

On the current version of the dev server, with the updated damage model of bombers, there is a lot of SPAA that currently cannot do anything effectively against them. That is because with the updated damage model, smaller calibre armaments do no damage to the wings and fuselage. There are 3 of the aircraft that have the updated damage model where it is especially problematic, those are the TIS MA, Su-8 and the TU-1. All of them having the 2x45mm with the APHE, and therefore are very powerful CAS. This means that they can farm ground targets, with most SPAA not being able to do anything against them.

The bombers survivability are even more powerful at even lower BR, where many SPAA are at best 20mm if not only machineguns.
At the very least i wish they would just delete your presets if they are going to change them in a way that would break them since its quicker to just make new ones instead of going through and fixing broken ones.
ik but with more fuel allows for more flights time since certain jets here aka the mig 29 as an great example loves to drain its fuel to quickly and it doesnt help that it only gets its belly drop tanks when irl it should be able to carry 2 extra drop tanks on the inner wing hardpoints aswell
Leo 2A7, yeah the Hungarian one. 2A6 with the 2HEL, sure. But Leopard 1 and Tiger? What other “best” Leopard 1 is there? C2A1 is in the German tree, Leopard 1 MPI is German, and Germany has the Leopard 1A5 like a few others. Swedish Tiger is just a Tiger II P, arguably worse since it doesn’t have the volumetric inducing sideskirts.
