The pylon is now ready.

Can you say whether it’s planned for other aircraft to get it this update? Like the F/A-18’s, AV-8B, or F-15E? Or is it going to be something that’s expanded on in later updates?

Also in the same vein is LJDAM for the A-10C a possibility for this update as it has been added to more than just the F/A-18C/E for the US?

Looks like it’s hovering and not actually connected to the pylon

Will there be any work on this issue? It claims the PIDS pylons can carry ALL traditional weapons with source material. It would help the F-16 POBIT a lot.

Its worse at high alt, yes

This report has already received a response. Unless there is some new information via a new report, this one is concluded

It may be expanded to other platforms. However no confirmation or ETA currently.

Is there any clarity about what GNSS offers the Pl-12A and AIM-120D over existing ARH missiles?

IIRC GNSS reduces/cancels the chances of the missile drifting from IOG. Probably won’t mean as much in WT though.

Gnss fox3’s do not have IOG drift (read: no advantage whatsoever)

Decrease CEP and make it harder for the target to notch.

“now it was already quite difficult to evade a datalinked C-5 or other fox 3 (because as the missile gets closer the notch and angle gate get smaller and smaller, so the seeker often re-locks for a split second at close range), but the lack of IOG drift on 120D makes it even harder to do this”

Makes the missile a lot more difficult to evade in look-down/shoot-down if datalinked. Other than that nothing.

Anything regarding this statement I’ve posted about the Gripen D’s incorrect canard modeling.

As mentioned, all JAS-39 received a silent change in canard modeling, but the recent JAS-39D does not. Should a separate bug report be made or keep the current bug report threat I’ve created already made a few months ago?

So uh, whats the point of JSOW over JDAM ER?

If i am not mistaken JDAM ER has more explosive mass than JSOW

kinda wish we had the cluster bomb version for how good that would be at countering SAMs, would have been a nice time to test cluster munitions too if they added it early to the dev instead of last minute

it would probably be also great at crashing the game

Cluster bombs might cause a lot of performance issue for many players. Maybe they have not optimised it yet. Though, what they could have done is test RCS for ammunition with JSOW

which brings me back to the point of “why do we get JSOW when we already have JDAMs” that do the exact same thing, perhaps even better
Only thing that comes to mind is that its a stand in as an ER version to GBU31 1000lbs JDAM, otherwise this thing is kinda mid. Especially since it takes the same pylon as the mavericks

No direct answer as to what else is going to come with this bomb speaks volumes, zero communication at the last second before update, so people don’t even know what to bug report that isn’t going to be featured so it can be fixed
