Flanker intakes are better no….? J-10 intakes do seem or would seem to create higher channel loss.
Only reason i see they are holding off of from deploying that jet is for some new IIR update or mechanic update. And with some other jets
They can’t even model the WS-10B and PL-12A let alone modeling J-16 with limited information.
They will most likely butcher it as well.
Its a magazine, doesnt even cite a source from where theyve gotten their shit from + doesnt specific which WS-10
Namely F-15EX and Su-35S, all three have been held back thus far
If they give the YINGS-III targeting pod its dircm, it can help with cm, cause you can carry more chaff instead of flares.

Well at least they cite wikipedia (!)

…which cites Janes

So we’re back to the source being Janes…
Everything is a circlejerk
I love the fact that out of all F-5, only French one didn’g get detailed damage model. But i still hope that with this update F-5 will stop eating ungodly amount of punishment with zero effect on their performance
Did F-20 recieved detailed damage model?
Doesn’t preclude Gaijin from using this source or any other source on the engine data, just saying that there’s no actual evidence Gaijin used Jane’s even if it’s a possibility.
Jokes on you I already have it :))))
Has no one bothered to ask what this means?
The J-10C has 360 MAWS… Which can obviously detect missiles… In a wide area…
They cited Wikipedia for the picture
They must have forgotten, since its just a copy paste job
Yeha that answer is some buns.
Like how do they think future planes like su-57s ldircm work, through the power of friendship and magic?
We have theres a convo with smin somewhere (i think j10 thread)
Of this i’m not aware. But iirc later flankers (J-16, J-11BG etc) had redesigned intakes to allow better airflow for the ws-10B.
What i meant is that they randomly increased the channel loss of the J-10C after giving it the ws-10B, making it higher than when it had the AL-31
