early type ? f-5c NEVER had flares and aim-9 , it was RETIRED when f-5 with flares came out, US f-5c never had flares chaff and aim-9. there’s no late f-5c with actuall flares or aim-9

okay but lets look at it from a logical point at the time when the F5 came US got the C as a prem and the E as TT the C didn’t get 9js got Es but also got Flares cause how would you balance a plane without flares and don’t say what about the 105 cause you can choose to have Chaff and the 105 is at a br where flares can be outmaneuvered
At that br a lot of planes don’t have flares.
There are late F-5A/C’s just in other nations with other operators
yeah but also at that br it has grown and if they nerf the F5C it come back to bite them
I would put it on 9.7-10.0 where all good planes without flares sit but im not a developer i don’t make decisions, i just read player who tries to defend his favorite plane
And? It’s not like the first time it would happen, look at the Italian m60 and the cv90105, if it isn’t realistic it shouldn’t be in game.
there’s no F-5C late operators in the game bro, f-5c is unique plane cause only US had it in service how you connected F-5A to F-5C
We still today fly all our F-5E’s with the old AN/APQ-159 radar. Only the airframes that were exported to the US got he AN/APQ-69 there, when they were converted to F-5N’s.
However, there’s still the issue that the Swiss F-5E (and Mirage IIIS C.70) should get AIM-9P-4’s…

Because the radar it has on the live server is the wrong radar. The Swiss F-5’s used AN/APQ-159(V) in service and only received AN/APG-69 after the US bought them back from Switzerland and modernised them to be used as aggressor aircraft in training where they were re-designated F-5N’s.
F-5A and F-5C builds are very much the same and apart from minimal structural changes share many internal and external components. All upgrades available to A models could be just as well fitted into C models and vice versa.
Only what i read there yes swiss f-5e radar replaced cause it having wrong radar but OUR GOD CHOSEN F-5C MUST STAY THE SAME cause in theory it could have flares and aim-9 (like swiss f-5 in theory could never had this radar), us mains don’t change

No what you read there is the Swiss F-5E’s never had AN/APG-69 when in Swiss service, they only received it after the US bought them back and converted them into F-5N’s.
