The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Eagle’s Shadow”! — 30.10.2026

The Strv 74 featured a ACU in the back of the turret. Hence why its so specially shaped.

This is actually really cool! I love this!!! Hopefully we can see the Sd.Kfz.7/1 for Germany some time too!

This is a visual limitation based on how AESAs are currently implemented which is still far from reality.

anybody else notice that all the new steering mechanics are gone from the dev server

Do we know that they’re supposed to be equivalents in the test event game mode?

It could easily be a low BR/high BR situation, testing both ends of the initial submarine tech trees.

Edit: the Tang in the files is a Tang-class boat. Not a Balao.

They’re not intended for this major update, just on the dev for testing. Probably will be added in and out of the dev while they work on it

no, bomber damage model and detailed damage model are very different things

I would assume so as Oxy said the test is a normal domination match, so I would presume they’re being pitted against eachother in some capacity.

I would personally think there’d be a difference in br between the two and not a 0.3 difference

after trying more vehicles the type 90 fuji still has it, but all the m1a1-a2 abrams and the challenger 2 OES do not for some odd reason right now

edit: and the IPM1, but the original abrams still has it, weird
maybe since the IPM1 and onwards have a different transmission they have to find new values, not sure about the challenger though

have you tried the dev server or are you just ranting here? they are still working on the damage model, changes are reflected in the dev server.

I fail to see how anything they can do bar abandoning this gameplay idea is going to fix the core problem

might want to delete your comment then because it is off topic, bringing an argument that doesn’t need to be here

Iirc a contract was already awarded for epawss integration, JSI is basically gonna be a single seat version of the EX what we don’t know is if the engines will be changed likely not.

As I understand it JSI will be getting DEWS (ALQ-239), not EPAWSS (ALQ-250). Both are BAE products.

NVM I see now, originally intended to use DEWS, has since moved onto EPAWSS.

I would not be surprised if this doesn’t happen. Would incur a significant cost for flight testing to certify new engines for the Js

We need the T-2 with SRAAM!!!

tbf i’d just rather the GR.1 missile-less

would make a much better 8.7/9.0

maybe that would be a possibility with the dual-BR system now

shouldn’t the Cheetah PRTL have X-band search and track?
or does the game use a different definition for the radar bands?

man I sure hope Sea Harriers get their Sea Eagles this update…

IEEE X band = NATO I/J band

You’ll get sea eagles on the harrier when the Gripen’s MAWS/RWR are fixed.
