Pantsir is SACLOS, which is inferior to F&F.
16km range SACLOS is not as good as 16km range F&F.
Are you going to say the ITO-90M, FlaRakRad, and TOR M1 are equals to EldE 98, and Tan-SAM? Just cause they’re the same range?
Pantsir can’t deal with 12.7+ CAS as much as CS/SA5, because 12.7+ CAS has launch ranges for their IR AGMs outside those two vehicles effective ranges.
Which is why they should remain 12.0 while better SPAA moves up.
The CAS that Pantsir and CS/SA5 are BR’d with are mostly LGBU CAS and slower IR AGM CAS like Harrier GR7, which is rather balanced.

I’ll leave one final response and will not continue this pointless argument. The CS/SA5 has an effective range of about 6km against a non-cooperating target, and its missiles can be flared and will be flared consistently. In contrast, the Pantsir can adjust its missiles for correction and is equipped with guns accurate enough to intercept munitions, unlike the CS/SA5 and also has triple the effective range as the CS/SA5.

16km is not 3x over 8km.
The video also doesn’t test for ranges beyond 8km until failure.
The point of testing against SPAA is to launch until the missile can’t hit a target.
This is how I determined Pantsir range was 13km until October 2024 where it increased to 16km against an angled target where it stands today.
CS/SA5 is also equipped with a cannon.
As I said previously, just because better SPAA is not at 12.3 and 12.7 doesn’t justify moving good SPAA for 12.0 down.
Look at 12.0 CAS: Tornado IDS ASSTA, AV-8B, A-10C, F-4F KWS, etc.
Do you really think that CAS over-powers CS/SA5, Pantsir, Tan-SAM, and EldE 98 by any notable metric?
Your post is acting as if these SPAA platforms are the same BR as F-15E, Su-34, Rafale, and Mirage 2000D RMV when they aren’t.
