What range are you referring to by bvr then because if you get much closer then you going to be in range of the Mica aswell

yk that BVR isnt always going 5km up and fly straight for radar to spot right?
wouldnt mind giving the 120A/B a slight buff in the close range fights and removing the C5 from the ability to be used by any plane and only keeping it for the slamraam

25 miles and above, AMRAAM has no issues hitting but the Mica will :)

You’ve obviously never used the Mica otherwise you’d know about the ridiculous amount of time it takes for it to travel that far
So you think that a Mica has a HIGHER chance of hitting a target over 25 miles away than an AMRAAM? That is the hardest copium I’ve ever seen xD

I didn’t mis-type anything.
The MICA will (slightly) have issues hitting targets over 40km. This is what I said.
40-50km it will still have to survive the TVC wobble, and beyond 50km it will self destruct.
It also doesn’t change the fact that either missile hitting a target from a 40km launch just indicates you are firing at a bad player, probably much like yourself.

The Mica wouldn’t even get near the target if they’re manoeuvring at all, my guy look at any of the videos posted showcasing all of the ARHs, you will see that the Mica takes absolutely forever to travel long distances because of the high drag, hell even the PL-12 outcompetes it in BVR…
And?
None of the current ARHs are going to hit a target at 40km+ if they have enough intelligence to maneuver
And?

Bro you still think that furballs are the only thing that happens in Top-tier matches, get your head out of 2020 and actually start thinking for once, BVR is still the number one way F-15s, Typhoons and SU-27s/30s are fighting, just because that’s not how you play doesn’t mean literally everybody else is doing the same thing.
You should actually try and look around you in a top tier match and see how many climb, there’s a reason not many Rafale players are alive at the end of the match.
