This is essentially what a lot of decent players have been trying to say.
The game is incredibly unbalanced. With these new additions, like LMUR, IRIS-T, Aster and so on, most performance metrics are entirely classified.
The german Eurocopter was already rather underpowered, the FnF nature of the Pars was more a gimmick than an actual advantage, because like you said, the damage is poor.
So why do the LMUR and the chinese CMwhatever need 16km range? Why can’t we keep them, even if it is ahistorical, in line with existing systems? Why does it need double the range if the laun platforms themself are completely invulnerable to IR missiles, essentially cancelling the IRIS-T from even touching them?
The 38MT is another example. Originally added because “Russia doesn’t have A2G ordenance with an IR-TV seeker”, casually ignoring the fact that it has double the speed, range and explosive mass of a maverick. Why not artificially nerf that missile along with the french hammers to be more in line with 65Gs? Why do some nations get stuff that is arguably 20 times easier to use and get the same or better results with than some other nations? If having an IR-TV seeker is soooo important, why is china still rocking KH29-TEs??
Gaijin tries to argue “muh historical accuracy”, but why are stingers not being buffed despite two dozen reports? Why are TOW-2Bs only rocking 150ish MM pen?
Because it’s a fucking game. We should remove unfun elements and make it so that stuff behaves similar. Top tier active radar homing missiles are a great example. All missiles except the MICA are pretty balanced with some nuances, but none are sticking out far further than others.
However since Gaijins MO can be summed up as “bottomless greed”, we can forget that. FOTM updates with broken shit gets people to switch trees and buy new 70 or 80$ premiums.
More you ignore something crucial… Rather than relying on a mode to be created for someone to function, add more to make it more likely they will survive.
After all, if they did get thier own mode, what do you think would be the next thing they’d want removed so they could function… Artillery? One cap domination maps? Small maps? Large maps?
Bowing to this DEMAND would lead to a problem, and this is really why I think you’ve not had any ‘luck’ in 7 years already.

You’ve merely shown what it can do unabated, and this drive to make peopel not bother about trying, almost makes it a compounding issue because you aren’t being challenged as you should, by experienced players.
It’s a very different ballgame when you know how to use SPAA, compared to the average joe.
But hey, I know, my stats don’t show how many lawndart and crash because I’ve flinched them out, but that’s not my problem, it’s yours for relying on numbers to tell ‘everything’.
Thats why you have multiple respawn in said combined mode.
You have the choice to spawn according to the current threat, if you don’t don’t do so, thats on you.
You can’t spawn CAS either without dying, which seems to be the returning “argument”.
You’re beyond reason, and there is no discussion with you because your demand for proof is ignorant to anything that’s been said, and that’s just the facts.

The reliance on the CAS boogyman is a problem, and the urge to feed it as you do is just dismissive and destructive to any discussion.

The issue is there is no real discussion if both sides doesn’t provide anything to back up their claims.
We can make another 200 replies where I will say that SPAAs are not Effective and talk about Effective range etc to just get replies like „no, because I belive otherwise”. It can be continued without end thus why backing up claims is needed

Why the hell would Gaijin need to give CAS better weapons to “counter SPAA”, CAS specifically should NOT counter SPAA otherwise it renders SPAA pointless. Tanks beat SPAA, SPAA beats CAS, CAS beats Tanks. The presumption that CAS needs to be able to counter Anti Air, which often times can’t even engage ground targets shows a flawed premise.
The slippery slope fallacy is hilarious, given you accuse others of not wanting to discuss in earnest and.
Anyway, do you even play top tier, I’m genuinely curious. Because while CAS at some BRs is an issue due to terrible SPAA options, low bullet velocity, and so on. At top tier especially the MI28NM is currently absolutely oppressive and can wipe an entire time pretty much right after take off.
If you are dealing with a FAF missile that’s insanely overperforming to it’s stats and whatever we know about it from IRL. On a platform with a magic missile shield, that is just pretty much immune to most SPAAs. Even against those who are meant to ignore DIRCM. Which can defend it against entire missile barrages reliably. And who can even outrange some SPAAs. Then saying “SPAA is there!” and “just adapt” is not a good argument, in fact it’s just handwaving away legitimate concerns while engaging in bad faith arguments yourself.
I have history with this dude, so don’t go jumping in.
And one of the mantions I made directly was to add SPAA where there are gaps.
So yea, maybe you want to read up a bit about the discussion compared to making out I can’t comment on something because I choose not to play top tear because by the sounds of it, it’s so dreary and dismal that people are just hate-playing and ‘grinding’ making them toxic.
As I have said so many times before, discussion doesn’t REQUIRE the proof you desire to disprove an opinion… That’s your problem and why you genuinely aren’t discussing anything.
Again, and be clear on this, I don’t need to provide proof to you, to have a discussion… But your demand for proof is just your way at playing superior on this.
After all, how can I prove to you something that doesn’t get credited just because you only accept numbers…
You cannot deny that when you’re shot at, you can crash avoiding it… It’s simple, but so simple you refuse to accept it, and keep harping on about the need to prove things, just for your want to ARGUE, and troll.
As long as planes move like rabbits on steroids, I consider myself not a CAS-hater but certainly against it as it is right now. Let´s try the ground only game-mode and let players/payers choose what they prefer. Simple and makes the game even better.
