This plane is the definition of anti-meta. A great airframe made for 1v1, not suitable for the current BR where the meta is nosing around without barely turning. An example of this, is the very f3h2 which also happens to outdogfight it outside of the 5 minute ratefight. The F3H2 should go to 9.3 for the performance alone, and for the armament it should be 9.7. The CA27 is an amazing 1v1 jet but it’s too stiff and unagile to be a good air RB platform. It’s an actual pain to play and everyone still third parties your dogfights.
I just came from a game, would have gotten 6 kills before getting killed by an f106 but the guns betrayed me twice, on both an f3h and a vautour.
The plane is a very strong vehicle indeed, but it sits more defensively than offensively.

Yeah its not the best sabre. It is by far the heaviest and the 30mm ADENs effectiveness really depends on the personal preference. I enjoy them way more than the 50cals

Best is still the cl13b mk6 I would assume then? Would’ve thought the ca27 would’ve been the best due to thrust but ig weight kills it

the funniest thing is that it was rumored we would be getting the F86H, an afterburning slatted f86 with two 20mm’s

F3H is NOT a 9.3 airframe. Yes it has great instantaneous turnrate and aoa but after 2 turns you lose all your speed. If you were already going slightly slow at the merge then even worse.
This is debatable. Right now it is very over performing because of sparrow buff but it is definitely not going to be fair at 9.7 considering the F4C is 10.0 and has better missiles and more missiles and also is faster.
don’t many aircraft like the alpha jet th sit at 10.7 just because it has four aim9p’s? How about the gunless hawks with 7.0 flight model and two aim7e2?
The F3H’s Aim 7C is much more situational (4s turn limit) than something like the Aim 9p or Aim 7E2. And also with radar missiles the radar is you know very important. The F3H does not have a good radar. I’m not saying that it shouldn’t go to 9.7, im just saying that its more nuanced and it will take the plane actually going up in BR to see where it will be balanced in its current state
