The first issue has been accepted, we don’t know what sources did DirectSupport provide.
The second issue has official sources and the same calculation method as the first issue, but Bug Reporting Manager #1 marked it “not a bug”.
The third issue references the first issue, that means the third issue has the same sources as the first issue, but it also marked “not a bug” by Bug Reporting Manager #1.
Do the Bug Reporting Managers accept or reject issues merely based on personal preference rather than a unified standard?
As long as there is no single consistent posted standard, they can reject or accept arbitrarily and you can not point to any documented standard in your defense.
Does this imply that one can arbitrarily manipulate a vehicle’s performance without evidence, simply by saying what Bug Reporting Managers want to hear or through personal connections?
First thing:
Any files attached are not shown to the public and so there might be sources that prove statements in one report but no sources at all in the other and just assumptions by the one making the report.
We cannot assume anything until we know what sources were used in the reports.
Secondly:
There is a standard, it’s detailed under the fields where you add files while making a report:
Edit:
Thirdly, if you have any questions about reporting bugs or about a specific report you can send a private message to the Technical Moderators to ask about it.
