"In the upcoming BR change plan, the weighting of the Zero fighter and the prototype Reppu has once again been increased. This change will greatly ruin the gameplay experience for Japanese Air Force players, for the following reasons:
We all know that the Zero fighter is renowned for its agility, but this cannot conceal its fatal flaw of slow level-flight top speed—a weakness that is already exposed at its current BRs of 5.3 and 5.7. However, at the original BRs, the Zero could still hold its own thanks to its airframe, which disintegrates at 777 km/h IAS. If these Zero fighters are raised to 6.0, they will have to face numerous jet fighters at 7.0, most of which have sea-level top speeds exceeding 800 km/h—far beyond the Zero’s airframe disintegration speed. If these 7.0 enemies choose not to engage in dogfights, Zero pilots will have virtually no chance of scoring any kills. While planes at 6.3 and 6.7 might still have to put in some effort to shoot down a Zero, 7.0 jet fighters can defeat a Zero as easily as drinking a glass of water.
In my opinion, the best solution is to make no BR adjustments to the Zero fighters and keep them as they are. That way, at least the last remnants of enjoyable Zero gameplay can be preserved."
