The BM Oplot-T Is... Concerning

Irl test you refering to was using naked 1 plate of Nizh. Lear the source first.

Is the side armor of oplot supposed to be 70mm ?

Of course not. They’re all 25, can’t you see?

The person who made the report regarding the side armour retracted it and claims that it’s actually supposed to be 70mm. Although I don’t know where he learned this.

That’s strange🤷

So is 25 only half of the armor?
Edit: never mind it has been changed

Finally

Just saw it, great news, can someone perform tests with 125mm HEAT and HE to see performance against over pressure?

nearly impossile to kill oplot with a 3of26 if you are aiming for its roof, but other than the roof , all the green spot is still an one kill
quite a solid buff, but I expect more fixes( I’m greedy)

Better than before at least. Main concern now is ERA performance and 50mm plate thing.

I still care about the gun handling, the 4.1/s of gun elevation is a waste for such a good mobility tank like this.

For me the lack of vertical speed isn’t that important since most of the maps you’ll be playing in are cqc.

The ufp armor is enough armored to withstand Soviet, Chinese, British, french and swedish apfsds.

The only thing I’m concerned about (for now) is the side era not deflecting apfsds (if it even can).

I don’t know how to bug report that, side era only deflects ammo when it is above 65 degrees, three layers of it is less effective than one thin layer of relict which deflects ammo at 35 degrees. I don’t know how to whitewash this nerf, perhaps it is because these two era works so differently🤯

Is there a bug report manager who directly marks an oplot bug report as “not enough info” before carefully reading it?

That guys IQ needs to be tested, first human being to have an IQ below 5 (shocking)!!!

At least we know there’s one who’s more reliable, and he (or she or whatever)helps review things.

The anonymization of bug report managers has allowed this kind of behaviour to flourish. There is 0 accountability.

the other mods dont even know why it was denied, one just randomly saw it, hit not a bug without any reason and the other mods dont fix it

The UFP -

This image demosntrates, quote “the early prototype of filler, stacked plates” that was later changed to homogenous plate in production searies.
It is this part:

The part of technical documentation for this specific part was posted with some editing with comments:

You can note that blueprint shows 3 rows of bolts it is because later Oplot variants have afromentionted section look like this:

The ERA -

Gaijin used this broshure http://uamicrotech.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/p04.pdf which is dedicated for the similar ERA as original Duplet but made by
image

A company that was established in 2018 , while ERA used for Oplot(and Thai variant) was made by "Basic Center of Critical Technologies “Mikrotek” ". Not to mention that Oplot itself was produced from 2009 to 2018.

If we to inspect the broshure we can already see the issue with the number of inner elements used -

Additionally it seems that new HKChPWSH elements use aluminum(I found explanation that it is less prone to corrosion resulting in longer shelf life) instead of copper for shaped charges. This and the size of charges indicates that it is less effective than original “ХСЧКВ34”.

In conclusion, if regarding ERA effectiveness there is room for debate and doubt, for 50mm plates between ERA there is none and it is only up to common sense and decency from Gaijin now.

Has anyone encountered this problem?
From the commander’s sight perspective of bm-oplot, after each use of laser rangefinding for automatic superelevation adjustment, the reticle automatically shifts significantly to the right.

I aimed for the gun breech area in the first photo, after lasing it shifted to the right side.
I’m not sure whether it is just game mechanic, but I bug reported it anyways.possible bug
Edit: The experiment was conducted on level ground.
