No we just want the right KE value for duplet and if possible the missing frontal plate and one more stack of ERA on the side.
I wish the side duplet would work like the relikt era

Even kontakt 5 works better than duplet on the side lol
Pls fix the era and put it at 12.7 or put it at 12.0 as it currently is. The armor is unreliable compared to the T-80U-E1, especially the side era. The acceleration is slower as well.
At this point it feels like a side grade to the T-80U-E1
Ukrainians intended lighter base armor for more ERA and equal, if not better, KE protection.
Gaijin f’ed it up. As usual ofc
can u vote on my post
In your post, you provided data for incorrect dynamic protection blocks that are not used on Oplot.
in the post i say that the blocks of nizh are to far away and because of that it dies often
Then I apologize
no problem just vote pls
i mean its just so random and it doesnt work like its supposed to
Also im pretty sure the ERA is way to small then it should be.
Link please
Aren’t those were done on bare base layer of UFP without separation 50mm plates? I only saw base Nizh test not Duplet ones. If you have material confirming there were tests done on “full” package I kindly ask to provide them.
No, that one is unfortunatelly is true to life, there is room for guide rails to allow easier maintenace on the ERA bricks

So my main concern is that Oplot sits 12.3 while T-80U is 11.7 with better UFP protection. T-80U-E1 is 12.0 and has 50 more BHP. Same gen thermals. Pretty much same pen value dart. But overall T-80 is better in comparison with Oplot.
theres no way that reverse gear makes it 12.3…
Oh cool, oplot’s ufp can’t defeat tandem ataka missile… Even when the Ukrainians designed the duplet to defeat those kinds of threats.

So the protection against 3BM42 is correct. But ERA has individual effect on different APFSDS, thats why for ERA protection is indicated in %. While ingame it provides fixed protection which is inccorect and results in underperformance.
Is this due to limitations/imperfections of ingame systems?
In the game, you also have different percentages of protection against different APFSDS.
The protection percentage will vary for 3BM42, DM53, and 3BM15, since their penetration also varies.
In real life, this is largely due to the same thing - the different kinetic abilities of the shells. Of course, there are a number of other factors, such as core thickness, segmentation, speed, etc., that can also have an impact, but these are not too significant.
