Has anyone else noticed that the .50 cal is misaligned on the Oplot? It always shoots high and to the left.
When selecting the machine gun to fire it, you can see the reticle is not in the center of the screen.
So how poorly modelled is the armour currently? And why does nearly all the ERA fall off after taking some glancing shots from autocannon fire
Also is it not having a spall liner accurate?

It does not get spall liner. At least i think so.
Well, IRL, ERA does not hold still against 30mm autocannon fire (at very least, it is not like there is an ERA to tank it). Maybe if there was 50mm RHA plating the second layer wouldn’t fuse so easily, but it is not there so yup.
Probably accurate. KMBD on its (now taken down) official page concerning T-84 (not BM Oplot) states the presence of spall liners in the tank. NBC lining is separated from it as per that statement.
However, T-84 ≠ Oplot, which is true to a certain extent, and therefore its presence in Oplot(s) is not completely verified. T-84s have to have them if they are added to the game, even though there are no cross section of internal armor layout. The spall liner might be integrated in NBC lining (or vice versa, whatever), yet that’s nothing but my theory as otherwise there are little to no other official sources proving the existence of spall liner in Object 478s.

to me it seems obvious with the addition of the ahistorical bta4 shell that the reason they nerfed the armor is because they didnt want the assymetry that an extremely durable tank with a weak shell would have, seems very dumb to me but this is the same company obsessed with making the game an esport.
What shells is it supposed to have?

yes but that assumes the gun can fire it, which is not a given, if it can be fire its likely that it should be subjected to the same reload nerf as t80bvm, as i remember seing a patent saying the unless the loader is modified the shell cannot be places next to each other.
BTA4 is not 3BM60 the reason 3BM60 has that restriction is because of its length BTA4 is significantly shorter than 3BM60
So it seems the UFP array is bugged against ATGMs and lets stuff that have 200mm less pen than requiring to do so
