The blast door abrams and leopard tanks are still missing when will gaijin add them to make the reload times "realistic"

yea exactly, and that would make people even more mad, russian tanks are already powerful, if they had fast reloads they would be broken

Absolutely, I would say that all tanks are powerful in their own way. Ofc you cant play them all the same but theres no bad top tier tank in either nation. Some are buggy and have questionable “features” but in general it mostly comes down to the player

It’s usually always tactical and logistical reasoning never why is it beneficial.

IS THE DOOR CONSTANTLY OPEN TO GET 5 SECOND RELOADING IS IT CLOSED TO “PREVENT” CREW DEATH. THE DOOR CANT BE IN A superposition

???i can’t understand this comment

There is plenty of proof, online, that an experienced loader can load any 120mm round for the Abrams in 5 seconds, even in a combat scenario. And this is with the constant opening/closing the ammo hatch

there is “proof” that the earth is flat online it doesn’t change the reality

You can’t be serious.

There are literally video proofs of loaders achieving a 5 seconds reload with ease ,in many conditions.

You are either trolling right now,or you seriously need to get a hold of yourself

@Zhuleck
You providing a falsified video as evidence ruins all credibility.

training simulator?

Yes, blast doors can be kept open by loaders by flipping a switch. This is a feature on Abrams as well.

The standard for 105mm loading is 5 seconds:

The standard for 120mm loading is 7 seconds:

Assuming that the same percentage of difference between the standard reload and the sustained reload as shown in the document you shared (5.3 seconds) then a sustained reload of ~7.42s for 120mm can be expected (5.3/5.0 x 7) or about 8rds/min.

Funnily enough, according to a Russian report of the Greek trials, the Abrams did indeed only have a sustained reload of 8rds/min:

Quick disclaimer

It is stated that the Leclerc only had a sustained reload of 9rds/min but the autoloader was suffering from many mechanical issues during the trial

So the Abrams can probably only realistically achieve 8rds/min up to a speed of 25km/h with 120mm shells.

The funny thing is that the report concludes that the T-80U was in almost every respect worse than the NATO tanks. And specific details of the report correlate with unrelated reports of the same trial. But since it doesn’t match your image of the Abrams it must be incorrect, am I right?

Yeah, sustained will always be slower than peak.
A universal fact of all non-osculating turret tanks.
War Thunder’s doing a race to the fastest reload of each tank that’s arguably underperforming.

IDK if I agree or disagree with their decision to do that, and there’s certainly plenty of evidence for every tank that got reload buffs recently.

Documents from trials are the most objective document we can possibly get for when it comes to comparing vehicles. Don’t call it “biased” simply because it doesn’t fit your narrative …

If these documents are “biased”, then all documents are biased, nothing is true and everything is a lie lol.

A skilled reloader, can reload an M1 in 3 seconds. The game basically is hindering/nerfing them currently.
