There’s no making out of this correctly for them. The only reason i believe that they are letting people keep the rewards is because it can generate instant revenue.
I have seen some people who have received rewards for this bug saying that it is not a big deal and will not have any impact on others. I do not want to mention any time-consuming or other issues here. I just want to say one thing. Many players have played wz141 to sell her on the exchange, and this bug has caused many players to directly receive wz141, some even two. There is no doubt that this will have an impact on the exchange price, and it may even lead to unsold products due to excessive ownership. So far, the official has not provided a solution. EDIT: PROOF of duplicate vehicle rewards. Now I see all the other replies talking about the duplicates. This was the first time I had noticed that this happened. This changes my opinion. I have to think about this for a bit before advocating for a specific resolution.

Do you have proof of this alleged doubling of a Battle Pass vehicle reward? Since it is not listed on the marketplace yet (I just double checked) a screenshot showing two of the same vehicle from the current BP in a player’s inventory would be conclusive proof.
I have been pretty much in the middle for this issue (full disclosure, I got the current BP by using the previous BP’s upgrade coupons, and I did not get any extra BP levels from this bug). However, IF there actually was doubling of any of the current BP vehicles for some players, my opinion would probably shift to advocate for some sort of overall “compensation”/gift for everyone else who has purchased the current BP.

Making “threats” like “I will just quit the game” are not constructive, and will usually only make people ignore your reply (including the Devs/team). SMH this is not fair to us normal bugged users. Either everyone should affected should get two coupons or you should take away the second coupon from those players.
Players who invest both money, time and energy can be called core players. Gaijin has shown such disregard for the demands and interests of core players this time—so if a similar bug occurs again, will they just stay silent once more? If they don’t even respect core players, how can other regular players expect to be respected?

I am a Chinese player. In my country, there is a consumer rights protection hotline called “12315”. Unfortunately, War Thunder is not developed by a Chinese game company; otherwise, I would definitely call this number to fight for my legitimate rights and interests. I hope friends from other countries can consider taking similar actions.

So Gaijin have decided to turn “bug” into “giveaway”, thus letting bunch of players to have unfair advantage over the rest of playerbase.
There is only one way to deal with this unfair act, dear fellow players.
Demand:
Compensate all GE spent on purchasing Expanded Battlepass and BP levels to all players who have bought them before 12th of September
Give extra BP levels and BP medals to allow every player to instantly claim every possible reward from the BP, including all 148 levels of rewards and the whole WB shop.
(Optional) Restrict main BP rewards (SB-25 and WZ-141) from being sold on marketplace, delete duplicate coupons after the end of current BP
I understand that giving away so many of free stuff will be too much for poor server hamster, the “Compensation” can be delivered gradually over the course of 1-2 weeks.
Since Gaijin have confirmed that all players who have received bugged Battlepass levels will be keeping them, there should be fair compensation given to all players who had actually purchased and played through the current Battlepass season.
Not only do numerous accounts now have access to the 6 vehicles in the warbond shop, but also, given they had purchased the Battlepass, an instant payout of the exclusive Battlepass vehicles as well as upgrade coupons and even multiple of said vehicles in some cases.
The fact that people who have many hundreds of BP levels essentially have unlimited warbonds, leads to those players being able to purchase hundreds number of boosters and wagers from the warbond shop, all the vehicles in the warbond shop and 11 random talismans, not to mention the camo, decal and decoration boxes.
I hope Gaijin sees to compensate fairly those who have not had the luxury of a bugged Battlepass via refunding the Battlepass for those who purchased it before the bug and/or giving all who did not receive the bugged levels, at least an extra hundred levels on top of what they had at time of the bug occurring in order to have the paying core playerbase not feel cheated of their time and effort in grinding the Battlepass.
As other users have stated, there can be a number of ways to compensate players fairly and to restrict multiple coupons received by few being tradable. We must be hopeful that there will be a fair end result to this happening, however long it takes.
So from now on, no one will buy and grind the battle pass anymore, because they might think they can once again luck out and get all the rewards through bugs. Is this what Gaijin hopes for?

Friends, let’s not stop appealing for justice. I cannot accept seeing other players already using the “Flying Dragon” title in the game while I’m still struggling to level up. I cannot accept that the WZ141 I worked so hard for has become worthless on the GaijinStore.
Gaijin, please provide a generous compensation plan—only this can repay the trust and affection we have for you.
So I drop $1000 in just the last 3 months with thousands of hrs played… and I’m stuck at the same level I was at. No compensation mentioned. Been playing since the OG CBT on my original account. This here is just from my Steam account playtime. Somewhere around 13 years and $40k. This is the biggest slap in the face yet. What am I helping keep your servers on and food on your tables for guys?
I’m pretty sure we need to start withholding both time and money until we get a reasonable response on this. Will also be lowering my reviews for the game. Which considering I play on every platform the game has… is at least 3 1 stars just from me.
