because thats not a windfall? its a bug that occured in the battle pass system… usually gaijin does a rollback or straight up bans ppl (remember the rp accumulation exploit?)

As someone who has upgraded to level 50 using Golden Eagle and diligently completed daily tasks and season challenges to level 90 every day, I do not believe that players who have already obtained season rewards through bugs should be allowed to return their rewards or have their accounts banned. This is unfair to them, as it is a serious work error of GAIJIN. The cost of their mistakes should not be borne by the players, at least they are not fully responsible.
As a fair resolution to the bug, gaijin should first issue all rewards for this pass to all players.
Secondly, for us paid players who have invested a lot of time and effort, gaijin should refund our Golden Eagles. For the time and effort spent, at least 250 Golden Eagles per level should be converted into GJN and distributed to the player’s account, or the player should choose any one of the previous passes as compensation for all rewards.
The above compensation, as crisis public relations, is actually not much, compared to establishing a good corporate image.
For a game that has entered the end of its life, a group of loyal core players and a large number of basic players willing to invest time are not easily accessible. These players are not like leeks and weeds in the fields, and there is still another round to come after cutting one round, especially when the game company sacrifices its reputation.
However, I don’t think Gaijin will accept the above suggestions. They are likely to pretend that nothing happened and attribute bugs and compensation to force majeure or player terms. This is their usual style and handling approach. This company does not consider commercial reputation as a part of its operations, nor does it consider players as partners who grow with them. They will only seize every opportunity to empty every coin from any possible pocket, and with their arrogant attitude and clever skills of dividing the player group, they will equally disgust every player who truly loves this game.
Finally, ending this lengthy accusation with a common Chinese blessing meme, I wish Gaijin a prosperous business, your company’s management and planning good health, and goodbye.

his is my passport. As an ordinary player, I am a purely disadvantaged group in front of the game company. Your arbitrary modification of paid props makes me have no expectations for your professional ethics and business reputation
Can’t believe people actually wanting others to get banned because Gaijin made a mistake and even confirmed that they can claim it. Go touch some grass seriously.
Also: I doubt they can roll back without taking literally all the progress in XP/Nukes you made in that timeframe as well. I got like 3 nukes yesterday and grinded a ton of XP for the BUK next update. This would be hilarious and upset even more people, including me. Just give some free levels to anyone that was not affected and call it a day.

It was, a lot of players were logged on (me included, it didn’t happen to me), it only happened randomly to some of them and i personally have no idea why or how it happened.
As far as i know, none of the players it happened to did it on purpose, it just happened to them without their choice, i got several private messages from players that were scared of getting banned due to this happening to them and not daring to play the game until it was fixed.
Not commenting at all on the other concerns people are having in here, just wanted to correct that part so that there isn’t a witch hunt against players that didn’t choose this happening to them.
I don’t want anyone to get banned for a developer error. I wanted there to be justice and for bug users to get their accounts rolled back for a few hours if they took the reward, i.e. intentionally used the vulnerability.
I played for months on multiple accounts for what? For what can I sell for 5 coins because half of the players got it for free?

There’s a difference between intentionally abusing exploits that harm others and receiving battle pass levels you didn’t actually play for. Also Stona confirmed that you can claim it so there’s no need to talk about bans now.

I doubt they can do that and even if it’s possible it makes no sense. Boosters have been used and credits have been spent so how are you gonna take that away from people now? Also they would need to manually review this which is not possible seeing how many people were affected.
