The max lvl you can reach by grinding now is about lvl100, at least they can alter the player who obtained ridiculously high lvls back to a normalax lvl, even if they don’t keep a log of bp progress to roll back. By this to show minimum respect to us who did tons of tasks we didn’t rly like to reach our normal bp lvl.
For more examples, several players received 2 wz141 by this bug, isn’t that easy to fix? can you deny it?
Just to show you that it’s nonsense to say they can’t roll back, there’s multiple ways to fix this on different levels, though they choosed to do nothing.
All we need is equality among every single player. I want everyone to get everything the same and get treated fairly… Those who played the game for years, showed loyalty and paid tons of money just to not get anything. If you disagree with this statement, it pretty much means you probably have never been mistreated. Problem Solved.

thats the thing - the progression exploits harmed noone, yet the snail did punish those who made use of it

A player who sees extra gold on his account must contact support to make sure that this is not a mistake but some kind of prize for activity (for example, for a screenshot on Steam or getting into the Thunder Show). It will definitely be written off and if you spent it, your account will be blocked for a negative GE balance, which in technical support will ask for a refund. But support in another case will offer to roll over your account until the gold is credited. I saw such a situation with a player on YouTube, during this time he pumped up the F-16AJ and it was wiped back for several days. How is this not a similar situation?

Oh really, YOU know that there are multiple easy ways to fix this? You have no idea how they store their data / if something got corrupted or lost during this server outage which led to these hilariously high levels. If you’d be working in any related industry you would be well aware that these things can happen
It’s not the player’s fault for getting hundreds of levels for free, but if you claimed the rewards afterwards you know very well you are exploiting a bug. Do I think they should be punished?
No, just revert the important rewards like Vehicles, Coupons and Title, If you bought the Battle Pass and your rewards got rolled back you should also get your Golden Eagles refunded. That way no harm is done to anyone
Players can get to keep their boosters, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal

Gaijin has managed to make me take a break from their game — I wanted to try out WoT 2.0 anyway. The next patch is going to be a total nothing, the smallest update in recent years

Data processing is not that hard to understand. They at least have the current data which contains every accounts’ current bp lvl .And don’t say they can’t process it. You’re talking based on your interest rather than facts.I won’t be discussing it with you.
I don’t care at all as I’m not interested in any of the BP content this time. I just don’t want to get my account, nuke counter and progression rolled back to Thursday. This needs manual reviewing and too many people were affected for that. What are they supposed to do with the current bp lvl if older data was lost? As I said you have no idea so we shouldn’t go into more detail.
Because you can only reach a level above 125 by bug now.(ppl pay GE to reach this lvl is extremely rare and that can be done manually for ge using is always logged), it’s simply easy to filter the players above this lvl and alter it back to a normal lvl such as 100.

This still needs manual reviewing so you won’t reset those that paid for it. You people think there’s some kind of magic automation for each and every error that can occur lol

Yes it’s unfair. At some point in life, you realize that life is unfair and 90% of getting material things in life is luck.
I’m happy for those who lucked out here and got rewards from a game glitch. Shame it wasn’t me but that’s just a part of life. If Gaijin does something to placate everyone else I certainly won’t complain, feel free to complain away, but I don’t expect it. To me it’s just like a random drop of an IS-7 in an SL loot crate, just a little windfall for being in the right place and time. (And no, I absolutely 100% don’t approve of ToS violations. You can ask all the people I’ve kicked from squadrons I’ve run for breaking ToS if I’m kidding about that. I think everyone was taking a bit of a risk of an account rollback if they cashed in right away. But as soon as Stona said here you could keep everything you still had, that ended that question.)
