Yup, seeing non tvc missiles hitting 90+ aoa is ridiculous. Basically everyone gets a tvc missile, no point of carrying any of the short range ir missiles if you don’t have to

Gunna put this here too, in case anyone else has any other sources that can be used.
Aim-120A, B and C5 are limited to being fired within the FoV of their seeker, which is +/- 55°.
This secondary source from the book “harrier: how to be a fighter pilot” shows that an Aim-120B can be fired outside of the seekers FoV but within the FoR of the launch aircrafts radar. Which for the Blue Vixen on the Sea Harrier FA2 is a +/- 70°
This source alone is not enough to bug report this, as it would be considered a secondary source. But if anyone else has another secondary source to go with it, then it might be enough to report it and get a buff for the AMRAAM on basically every single aircraft, allowing AMRAAM to be fired at a target anywhere within the FoR of the launch aircrafts radar (which makes sense)
