Jecka had the sources and explained it quite well with documents, problem is Hammer IR’s should also have the same capabilities but Gaijin refuses to fix both armament.

The ASRAAM exists and the PARS 3 exists. That doesn’t mean Typhoon (ASRAAM fitted with a PARS 3 warhead) ever existed as a functional missile.
Gaijin (rightfully) consider Typhoon to be a paper / mockup weapon so not eligible to be added, but also insist that Kh-38MT is fine despite being in the same situation (fun fact there are even more photos of Typhoon than there are of Kh-38MT). Hence people are annoyed at the double standard.
The correct thing to do is remove Kh-38MT as it is never confirmed to have existed in a functional / prototype state. But it seems Gaijin won’t do that.

Dont lie. It was discovered to be a mockup of an IR version of the Kh-38MTE, we found the model manufacturers website, and even then, its suspect as the model manufacturer also does not list it as having an IR homing head.
There is still to this day not a single shred of evidence of a working Kh-38MT ever existing, and as a matter of fact, Rosoboronexport has removed all mention of the MT/MTE from their website, only the MLE has actual proof of existing, let alone being used in combat.
Nono, there’s a big difference here: Gaijin never even acknowledged the concerns raised about the Kh-38MT’s existence, neither officially or unofficially. They just shut down the thread without ever giving any official acknowledgement of any concerns ever being raised in the first place.
This, like a few other situations in WT history, is a situation where gaijin HAS nothing to refute the concerns raised, and so they decide to just outright pretend they never saw the concern raised in the first place.

Yeah it leaves a shorter trail, don’t remember if it’s also a little bit clearer, but I’m almost sure it is.

I don’t know enough about British missiles to comment, but if ASRAAM is meant to be a modular missile like Kh-38M then based on their current “Standards” I think it could be added.

I was unaware of this. Last I had read a lot of the Forum mods had come in agreeance that it was a Thermal seeker as opposed to the laser one.
