Especially with the introduction of the Typhoon there’s way too much of a difference in capabilities of aircraft 12.7-13.7. There are many threads saying “X plane should be lowered in BR” but these only result in other aircraft being in even worse positions. So instead, here’s the bare minimum of what aircraft instead need to go up in BR. There are plenty of yes-ands that can be tacked on, aircraft that could see BR changes accompanied by armament changes, and of course we could move top BR up beyond 14.0, to 14.3 or 15.0 or any other arbitrarily large number. This is simply intended to be a very base-level decompression.
Starting with 12.7s to 13.0:
F-16A ADF (US/IT), F-16AJ, F-16A MLU
These aircraft have no business being the same BR as the F-16s without SARH. Even if you believe an AIM-9L is superior to an AIM-7, the added versatility and utility of the AIM-7 is undeniable.
13.0s to 13.3:
F-4F ICE
Substantially better than the other 13.0 3rd gens, and with the Typhoon Germany is no longer lacking a good top tier.
F-15A, Baz, F-15J, Su-27, J-11, Mirage 4000
These aircraft combine exceptional flight performance with heavy and effective missile load and simply bully anything they encounter below 13.7, while also having effective countermeasures against ARH especially in the F-15s’ cases. Plus, players at this point should have had enough time to learn how to combat ARH missiles.

F-15E, F-15I
The F-15s were already the top fighters, and these two came in with 6% higher weight and 23% more thrust
i don’t think you’re right about this one, in regards to “F-15A, Baz, F-15J, Su-27, J-11, Mirage 4000”, cuz at 13.3 you have Su-34 and Mig-29SMT, wich both are quite similar to ICE, but waaaay better than F-15A, Baz, F-15J, Su-27, J-11, Mirage 4000, simly cuz of ARH missiles. I would be down to increasing back the BR of F-4F KWS, but also moving everything else up by a notch.
Are you out of your mind? I’m your scenario it is a 13.7-14.0 aircraft. Why would you decompress just to send the J-11A back up to a BR where it doesn’t belong.
Well starting off it’s already worse than the Su-27SM, which would be the second worse at that BR. And then it would also be at the same BR as the M2K and F-15C/J(M)/Baz? Not balanced in the slightest.
That is genuinely the most insane BR suggestion I’ve ever seen during my entire stay in the War Thunder forums. The J-11A is a equal or slightly superior vehicle compared to the SU-33, it’s LITERALLY a glorified J-11 - same engine, same RWR, same radar and for the most part the same everything with the exception of MAWS and the RVV-AE.
The J-11A should only be a single BR step above the J-11 as a unsignificant and near unnoticeable upgrade.
F-15JM and F-15E are equals and should be the same BR.
Mig-29SMT should also be the same BR as F-16C.
Sea Harrier is bad. So is Ja-37Di. Those can stay 13.0.
So because Germany is finally getting something good, that means the current suffering should be worsened? There’s a reason why it got moved to 13.0. And before anyone responds with “It’ll be fine moving it up when everything gets moved up”, you are right to a small extent. The problem is the highest BR, because the ICE always gets dragged into uptiers where it suffers. If you want to decompress everything, my suggestion for the ICE and possibly Tornado F3 is that they should be a minimum of 1 BR lower than the highest BR.
J-11A should be replaced with J-11B that has Chinese domestic missiles like PL-8B and PL-12 instead of it just being a cheap knock off SU-27SM. or at least put J-11A in a folder under the J-11, and then make J-11B the next in the tech tree, so J-11A becomes optional.
