As the title suggests the A7-K at 11.3 in ARB is absolute trash. And I am not talking about not-viable or not-meta, no I am talking about physically UNUSABLE.
It’s a slow, unagile, fat, shitbrick that gets violated by everything it faces. The engine is so weak that it can barely take off if you have some actual bombload, not to mention that you are facing jets with afterburners and supersonic speeds. Agility? Non-existent. Weapons? You have 2 AIM9-Ls that are all-aspect which are decent on paper, but not on a platform like this, also they can be flared very easily.
Another fun fact is that the A10 and Su25 which are very much similar to this plane, if not better. Are an entire br lower at 10.3.
So, can anybody tell me why this bastard American sized hamburger bus is at 11.3?

(ARB wise) I do agree on the A-7K being rather to high in BR, tbh all Cosairs II as when they added seperate BR’s they all got bumped up even when they had just gone down a month prior.
The A-7K could honestly be an 10.7 & wouldn’t be too powerful as after all there’s the A-10A(L), Su-25’s, Buccaneer S.2b (yes I understand it doesn’t have a cannon) all at 10.7 already or at the very less go back to the 11.0 BR it was for a brief period but as of current it’s at its original BR from when it was first added.
On another note, I’ve recently started using the AGM-65’s on it & they at least give it some stand off abilities over bringing a light bomb loads (8× 250lb)/rocket (2× FFAR pods) loadout as that’s what I’ve been doing with it as if you carry a heavy load like all the fighters do, then you’re even more dead.

Of the Corsair family, I’ve only played the 7E, but just looking at the 7K on paper, definitely seems too high for what it offers.
Even the 7E felt like a total brick at 10.3. There’s no way on earth 9L’s warrant putting a near identical thing a full BR higher. Even the one thing they’re actually good at - destroying bases, is often impossible because all the Phantoms beat you to em (a problem I imagine the 7K experiences much worse because it’s in range of F4S spam).
Quite a lot of strike aircraft suffer from this too now I think about it. Shame. Was quite optimistic when the ground / air BR split was announced.
if you don’t take any ordnance besides the missiles it’s usable
not good, you need to flank and get the first shot but it’s usable, I’ve flown worse
as a bomber you just gotta hope the bases respawn in time and nobody knows where you are
