The F-4e in game is based on the dmas upgrade (digital modular avionics system) f-4e which is a post 1972 upgrade on the existing f-4e airframe that was capable at launching agm-65 mavericks (already in game) and anti radiation missiles like the Agm-45 “shrike” but with saying that it was more common to see them on the f-4g “wild wiesel” but it would be a great place holder for the time being and considering soviet attack aircraft around the same br are getting anti radiation missiles it would be a great counterpart to them

the in game F-4e does not have DMAS upgrade as indicated by the cockpit and lack of the added antenna
there were some airframes without DMAS that could use AGM-65,
however the devs dont really know what the in game F-4E is as they have stated its a generic pre 1972 model
but GBU-15 capability was only added with DMAS after that date

also even though it is a non DMAS aircraft it could still use AGM-45 (just probably not AGM-78 or AGM-88)

Thats the weird part about the f-4e in game its a mixture of f-4e variants which is confusing also the f-4e cockpit in game is the exact same as the f-4c and f-4f ice cockpit so its abit of a stretch using the cockpit to tell the difference

that is a problem with the F-4 ICE
because DMAS (and later) F-4Es have visualy different cockpits

although the model is based on DMAS they claim its pre DMAS which is BS, this is the result of slapping a few different blocks of the aircraft together and not just staying with one, they know this, as it had its should be proper armament during the first SEAD events of F-4Es vs MiG-21s, i doubt they will do anything to fix this thought
