Test driving removed vehicles

Couldn’t find a thread explaining why Gaijin doesn’t let us test drive or use the armour calculator on tanks such as the Tiger 10.5, Panther II, and Flakpanzer 341. Does anyone know why they are so against it?

Your entire post is false.
Use the War Thunder wiki to look at these vehicles.
Gaijin has always allowed test drives and protection analysis.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me how exactly I am supposed to test drive this.

As for the protection analysis you can see the armour of the removed tanks but cannot use the gun they have.

Open up the War Thunder Wiki, sign into your account on the Wiki page, open the page for the vehicle you wish to see, Click Show In Game Button on the vehicle header. Button is located directly below the vehicle name. This will open the the preview vehicle page in game

Ahh, Im stupid. I see what you mean now.

The Panther II is one the vehicles that you cannot test drive, despite being under the Premium/Event Category side of things. These used to be TT vehicles that were removed so it kind of makes sense.
