I think there should be a option for a test drive replay feature. I think it would be great because you could make edits with tanks you dont have.

Yeah… Gaijin isn’t going to do that for the same reason they don’t allow everything to be test driven. $$$
Just do like very one else does and video capture the test drive with the UI turned off.
