i 100% agree that the BMT 72 for 11.7! first though give it APFSDS, light abilities (scout UAV ect). even then it’s tall and REALLY REALLY REALLY bad in reverse, 4 ATGMs … so all in all prob still 11.3 or sm WITH THAT
its true, with the thing its got now, it cant fight against 11.3 or 12.0.
a reminder that the 2 terminator BMPT that we got in the game are prototype / export
the bmpt-72 was only a export show, while the bmpt that we got was based on t-90A frame and limited to apds and atacka missile.
the version we will have at top tier will the one with the whole package upgrade, apfsds/era side kit/T-90m base/ T-90m armor/modern and better atgms/gen 3 thermal/powerfull grenade launchers.
Well if it’s performing too well according to the statistics it’ll move up to 10.7 no matter what you, me or anyone thinks about the change. It has always been that simple with Gaijin.
Although I doubt that especially the premium version will move up anytime soon, seeing how the average high tier premium vehicle performs in this game.
As I stated previously, nearly all players who’ve used Ground Launched F&F ATGM agree that they are treated poorly. Not only do they come in limited supply among tanks like the Namer, which only gets 4 in total, but you may not even get a kill with all four of them fired. They’re inaccurate and not guaranteed to kill on impact. You can’t even use them under 600 meters, either, and smoke completely scrambles them.
Once you’ve fired all 4 spikes on the Namer, you become a slightly more armored CV9035 unless you sit on a cap.
Not if it misses completely, which they will. And if you’re paying attention, you can just pop smoke.
The Terminator’s missiles aren’t given a minimum range. You can use them in self-defence. The Namer Tsrikhon has a minimum missile distance of 600 meters due to its position.
Sure, but you can manually guide other ATGM’s through smoke if you’re good enough. Spikes will always miss if you smoke and move slightly at a good time.
The Terminator has an ammobox. It has two reloads of everything.
I’m not opposed to it at 10.7, however I am more interested in getting the Namer taken down to 11.0 or 10.7, because it is functionally worse than the PUMA/KF41 and Jaguar while sitting at a higher BR.
And for those who wish to pull the whole ‘it fits the 11.3 lineup’, that’a cool and all, but I can simply bring it up from 10.7, won’t suddenly perform any worse because it’s at a reasonable br
remove the ammobox? i dont know but 11.7 or 11.3 is crazy 10.7 is logical and the isreali ones even if they move down in like 11.0 evryone will use them with the 11.3 merkavas i belive or at least thats what i will do when i go there
