Problems with the teammate indicator on radar in simulator, ive killed 4 teammates accidentally from afar because the damn iff isnt showing, ive switched over aircrafts and the same thing happens. The iff isnt showing resulting in accidental team kills.
You might have accidentally set your IFF filter to enemies only.

There is still the issue though that when you use manual radar (so not the keybind to cycle) you can still lock teammates with tws even if u have enemy only filter. so you lock invisible things on your radar and can launch on them
That does sound like some sort of bug yes. You can bug report it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)
