Has anyone else noticed that since the new update, tanks aren’t showing up on the HUD, even when they are completely in your view and fully rendered?
I was sitting at one corner and watched two tanks, one at a time and about 10-15 seconds apart, drive into my field of view. Their models were fully visible on my screen, but the HUD wouldn’t light them up until one or two seconds after they were fully exposed. This leads to many instances where someone just appears completely out of nowhere and is able to shoot you.
I’ve even had instances where a tank was on an incline beneath me, and I could 100% see its entire silhouette, but the HUD wasn’t lighting it up. It took me driving fully over the hill before they showed on the hud.
Also, I’m getting shot by tanks that are literally sitting out in the open and, after my death, still don’t show on the HUD, even though they are only 0.2 km away. If you watch the local replays, you’ll see that the game is now culling a lot of tanks out of view (probably an update to the anti-cheat), which is leading to the ghost tanks appearing out of nowhere or not lighting up the hull.
This obviously feels to me like the anti-cheat or something related to culling is now tuned too aggressively.
