It’s funny, the more I play each match, the more I’m starting to believe there’s a hidden modifier to benefit certain players. I just finished a disastrous match (it lasted 4 minutes) where the first thing that happened was that I fired a 90mm HEAT round at an M51. I hit the radio operator’s helmet area while facing it head-on, killing the radio operator, the commander, and leaving the gunner in the red, which is absolutely impossible, since the commander is behind the gunner. If the commander dies, it’s because the gunner would be literally torn to pieces, which clearly indicates that the game saved that gunner, thus saving that player, which caused my death at that moment and the deaths of the two other tanks I had before leaving the match.
If there’s no hidden balancer for damage and penetration, then what we have is extreme negligence on the part of the developers in fixing these problems, and they’ve decided that this immense garbage is the norm in the game. Wonderful.
