As you can see above, the JaPz.K A2 sits at a BR of 8.7 and sits as a subfolder of the TAM, which sits at 9.0. At it’s current state, the JaPz.K A2 is rendered useless - If you were to get it, you’d have to first buy the TAM, which is a great addition to your 9.0 lineup but if somebody has already grinded 8.3/8.7 and now wants to grind 9.0, what use would the JaPz.K A2 have? Sure it has a 4s reload but it lacks a stabilizer so why waste 520k SL on a slightly better tank when you already have one that does the job? I would propose a swap - with the TAM as a subfolder vehicle of the JaPz.K A2 .

That’s why its the second vehicle in the folder, you can skip it entirely. Thats half the point of folders.

Could we not just swap the positions? Either that or foldering makes sense. Does Gaijin not think about these things when making changes?
more people want to play the TAM than the JaPzKa2 why would they swap them?
That’s what I’m saying here, it lets players skip a good vehicle that performs well and has potential.
Because by the time they have the TAM, they don’t need the JaPz.K anymore.
some tanks have the BR of .7, as they are too good at .3, but not good for a +1 br. The jakpzk a2 is good at 9.0, added it for your lineup
good for them, if they dont want the JaPzK why should they have to get it?
Because the the JaPzKa2 has a lower BR, so logically you’d think it’d be lower in the TT, as OP said it doesn’t make sense to have a lower BR vehicle higher in the TT because the player will naturally want to use the higher BR tank if they’re grinding the TT.
It just means they’re either not going to use the vehicle, because that would mean wasting SL on crew, or they’re going to not use the Higher BR vehicle they unlocked before it so they don’t get up-tiered.

Yes but I’m talking about ppl who would’ve wanted to get it earlier if it wasn’t in a folder w/ the TAM. Even if we force players by making them research the JaPz.K, it’ll make them consider actually using it in a lineup that it performs well in.

No yeah I get that, wish they’d folder more vehicles, but I still think the higher BR vehicle should be higher
germany doesnt have a significant enough 8.7 lineup to cater to anymore though? at least not compared to 9.0 or 9.3
in fact its the only 8.7 tech tree vehicle
