Continuing the discussion from [Air RB] Response to the October 2024 Battle Rating Changes:
hi SO I want the battle rating of the AMX to be lowered to 10.0 and the battle rating of the AMX-A1 to br 10.3 or 10.7, because in the future the plane will be almost useless and in this br it will save the plane a lot and thus Italy will be more sought after when purchasing the AMX-A1.
Chill out, those are only planned, obviously Dev’s will take player’s opinion, example what happened with Strela-10M2, it was supposed to be moved to 10.0, but got moved to 10.3.
AMX has 2x Aim-9Ls which puts it on par with most other sub-sonics with 2x Aim-9Ls at 10.7. In fact, considering it has 120 countermeasures, it is actually ahead of several other 10.7 aircraft with 2x Aim-9Ls such as the Sea Harrier FRS1e which only has 60 CMs (and a heat sig that makes flaring anything extremely hard work)
The AMX is at the correct BR and 10.0 is just insane. There is no justification to be that BR.
AMX A-1A does have slightly better AAMs to Aim-9Ls and does maintain this 120 CM count. The tricky question is whether these 2 upgrades are enough to push the AMX A-1A up to 11.0 from 10.7. But in any respect. It should be no lower than 10.7 but definetly should go down to 11.0 at a minimum.
The Idea of making it 10.3 so that its Pay-to-Win is just a bad argument.
