I’d say otherwise. The Su-34 is a big and fat target so it’s easy to spot and hunt down. Whenever I play AA on NATO (Stormer AD), I always move to certain spots that allow me cover and better sight than what aircraft have. I’ve taken several Su-34’s without too much issue, even more when I run CAP/CAS (I’ve used the GR.4 as multirole sometimes when I felt it was needed.)

Yeah I learned about the engines later on. I heard it was getting heavy nerfs so I figured they would give it the first gen Flanker engines and make the F-15 the new jet that everyone should get because it’s THE best (it kinda is), I just think that the Su-34 is the biggest disappointment for the Russian air tree along with the Russian air tree being the BIGGEST disappointment to what I’ve grinded, even their ground isn’t much of a positive review from me, given I think they’re mid for ground, SPAA is fantastic though. I still would rather play the UK tree and kinda wish I started America first, the Abrams and American Aircraft are much more flexible lol.

Stormer AD has a range of 6km…
Kh-38 has 15km

The Su-34 pilot has already dumped their Kh and if you were targeted you, you are likely dead.
The Stormer AD/HVM are not counters to the Su-34.

I know it’s not but it’s all about finding hiding spots, SPAA like the stormer rely on mobility. I use that to my advantage and find hiding spots good enough to get close enough to hit the Su-34. If you can’t use a braincell or 2 to stop CAS, that’s on you. Don’t sit at spawn (unless of course you have the range to deal with CAS), but nonetheless, the Su-34 isn’t busted, it’s strong, but not busted. I’d say it’s more situational, and I think I would have more success in the F-15E and GR.4 (haven’t gotten to play the Su-34 because it’s so fucking bad in ARB I just gave up).

It is the strongest CAS sure but if we talking about the bigger picture with ARB being included in the talk , it is not that good. But as a CAS ? Yeah it is pretty damn cracked , gotta give it that

I dont dispute what you are saying the issues still is that by the time you are in range to shoot it down the Su-34 has launched and a smart player is turning away from the battlefield.
If they get arrogant and fly over the map then yes, I have killed a few of them with the HVM

It’s really bad in air, end of story. USA still is way too dominant for air, in grb, it’s great.

Arguably, the majority of players play GFRB anyways, so its a lot better having the best CAS jet ingame (by a LOT) over the best air jet ingame, particularly when you also already have the best SAM ingame as well. That being said, the 229 eagles seem to have broken air RB/SB as a whole, and now gaijin appears to be rushing the Eurodeltas and more modern REDFOR jets in to try to “fix” the problem

The 229 engine was added to the F-15E at the last moment because American mains weren’t feeling favored enough. That mistake was an easy swap replacement since the Israeli version already had the engine. But they can’t rush out the eurofighter in a few weeks. That takes time to make.

The 229 engines were added to the F-15E because gaijin didnt have the forethought NOT to add the isreali F-15I Ra’am, which lead to a (rightfully) furious playerbase.

The F-15E (220) shouldve been added without the F-15I and the isrealis should have waited. Gaijins insistence on adding the F-15I, which they already knew was going to be a problem (its why they didnt give the E 229’s right off the bat) was where they fundamentally failed. That and the fact they keep adding jets and weapons that eclipse the performance that would make sense on the maps we currently have.

The EFT was already in the works for a while, its not like theyre starting on it rn…

It doesn’t matter, cause F-15C/JM/E/I are all effectively equivalent.

No? F15E/I’s significantly stronger engine thrust helps them spam at much higher alt. Which is less death as well as better kinetic at longer ranges.

The difference is 30 seconds out of 174 total seconds of F-15C to 2000kph at 7000 meters altitude.

30 seconds means u spam earlier, and from what I have seen, US air WR has gotten better since their addition. Not hugely significant, but to me, F15E/I are just clearly superior, and this is more so to other nations.

It’s more to do with skilled players overall.
F-16C, F-15C have been top of the leaderboards at least as often as F-15E.
Win rates are a matter of team skill, which you should know.

Pansir has the range but really bad g over load compared to others, and no 800mm pen aams like the Adats. So it has its trade offs
