I don’t understand the Pantsir argument, I’ve played UK top tier and I almost always beat a Pantsir and continue with CAS, the aircraft I use is the Tornado GR.1 and the JAS39C.
I was hoping for a unique feature that the Su-34 has, like the Grom-1 or the rear radar but it seems we won’t have any of the cool features for it besides just beefed up KAB-500S bombs (Grom-2).

Yes, KH-38’s are the best AGM in the game but I’d argue that the PGM 2000 is better, performance wise. Yes you can only carry 4 (3 with the targeting pod on the Tornado GR.1), but given I never really have problems with Pantsir’s unless I just make a fatal mistake that allows them to kill me.
Sadly, in which will either be a prem or event vehicle.
My point was specifically to with him complaining about F-15I.
Su-34 is miles better CAS than F-15I, and Pantsir can actually shoot down an F-15I whereas Chaparral cannot shoot down a Su-34.
This status quo was true before the update and it will be the same after the update, so idk why he’s making out as if Russia is being left behind or something.

To be honest I’m not excited with the weapons but the plane design and specially the sound, is the neared we’re getting from a Su-57. Yet dangerous imagine hearing a Su-34 in a match slowly flying at lower altitude. The owl.
I know the F-15I isn’t gonna be great for CAS. I’m more or less speaking on overall use and performance. And Russias not being left behind, they’re getting a rather mid aircraft. The Flankers and Fulcrums aren’t even a real threat outside of the R-73 in dogfights, even worse at BVR (I know the R-27ER exists but it’s either you commit and die to an AMRAAM or you evade and waste an ER). I personally just don’t think the First production Model Su-34 is a good choice at all. Su-34M? Maybe. But I would prefer that the Su-27SM and the MiG-29SMT get their FM’s fixed along with the Engines.
The current best aircraft in overall performance for Russia is the Yak-141 which is kind of sad.

one could say literally every tree besides US and USSR has worse CAS
and not even just slightly worse but rather full miles worse

You said very long, I’d definitely say that it’s pretty close to real life.
Someone knows if su34 will be strike or fighter ?
The Kh-38 has much worse characteristics than in reality.
Because people see a red dot and decide they’re gonna fly straight at it instead of going evasive. Fun fact, the Pantsir’s missile can only manoeuvre really well at around 5km. Pop off.
Yeah they are…even the Gripen, is kinda meh, especially if you try to bring even a little Mutlirole power
oh I tried using the A gripen for bombing since it doesn’t stand a realistic chance against AiM-120 and that thing flew worse than a tornado
Also, with the missing centre line bomb rail. I dont think you can quite kill a base right?
someone could say that for 80% of the weapons in the game the point is ts the best agm in the game by a long shot so i dont see your point.
