I do believe the Su-34 will be the best CAS plane. 6 x KH-38MT/ML on a platform that isn’t the Su-25 is pretty deadly.

SU-34 is still F-15 equivalent in air to air despite its slower speed.
Also Su-34 is not getting first gen Flanker engines, it’s getting newer engines.
It doesn’t need Groms and its A2G has quality over quantity. You get 6x Kh38s, which is currently the best A2G weapon in the game. Plus, the KH38s have built-in thermals. Since Russians don’t have to face the Pantsir, I can see why you would think that the F-15E will be better, but the Su-34 will be able to operate with impunity whereas the F-15E is much more likely to get shot down.

Arguably better than the Su-27, by far in the manuverability department, and most likely in weapons, so I see it being competitive, but not competitive to the level of the F-15I/E

No Su-34 has thrust vectoring.
It gets 6 r27ET’s. That alone makes it the best cap plane in the game.
I mean yeah I know about the 6 KH-38’s but it doesn’t have thermals and not everyone has the eyes of a hawk, so in a way, they’re situational unlike the ones on the Su-25SM3.

Only the Su-34M has the Thrust Vector, we’re getting the first production model.
Not entirely, if you’re not paying attention, sure, but I’d take AIM-9M’s any day of the week.

Irl it can’t keep up with a flanker for very long, so the FM we have in game is unrealistic technically.
Won’t work, gaijin doesn’t really care about Russia players much, and it takes one to know? Im also a Brit main.
I don’t understand the Pantsir argument, I’ve played UK top tier and I almost always beat a Pantsir and continue with CAS, the aircraft I use is the Tornado GR.1 and the JAS39C.
I was hoping for a unique feature that the Su-34 has, like the Grom-1 or the rear radar but it seems we won’t have any of the cool features for it besides just beefed up KAB-500S bombs (Grom-2).

Yes, KH-38’s are the best AGM in the game but I’d argue that the PGM 2000 is better, performance wise. Yes you can only carry 4 (3 with the targeting pod on the Tornado GR.1), but given I never really have problems with Pantsir’s unless I just make a fatal mistake that allows them to kill me.
Sadly, in which will either be a prem or event vehicle.
My point was specifically to with him complaining about F-15I.
Su-34 is miles better CAS than F-15I, and Pantsir can actually shoot down an F-15I whereas Chaparral cannot shoot down a Su-34.
This status quo was true before the update and it will be the same after the update, so idk why he’s making out as if Russia is being left behind or something.
