MBT-70/Kpz-70, chieftain mk10, M60A1 RISE
Except the M60 RISE, the MBT-70 and Chieftain MK10 is a tough enemies lol they are all easier to do well in terms of KDR than the T-64A at least for me, not sure what has changed since 2017 I assumed that some still using legacy models.
T-64A was tough, none of new round added back then could pierce it’s UFP reliably and you need to know NATO 120mm HEAT had 600mm of penetration. But it lacked LRF and speed. And it was well before L-O calculation was added to the game for APFSDS.
The most OP, feared and destructive MBT present at the time for top tier :
Spoiler
AMX-30 B2
Like how, ain’t that thing no stab
it was sarcasm
but on a more serious note while t-64a is quite well balanced bow, it’s true that the physics regarding armor made it quite a formidable threat back in the days
Back to T-90M, if there is appropriate sources, sure, but it’s not like T-90M is a bad tank per se. Yes it struggles against leopards, but what MBT doesn’t
Helicopters without FnF missiles can’t be the best, please stop parroting five year old claims, it’s 2025.
thats dumb. just so happens that the helicopters in questions have the strongest counters to the best spaas in the game. also said non fnf missiles have the fast TTG of any heli launched missile
You don’t even need new AAs to counter non FnF helicopters, they have got their counter years ago.
What are you referring to with TTG ?
“You don’t even need new AAs to counter non FnF helicopters, they have got their counter years ago.” thats a thing for every helicopters, just so happen that non other helis get giga fucked by new spaas also.
im referring to Time to target.
No it wasn’t as AA missiles couldn’t reach helicopters in time before they fire their missile and then just hide because no guidance is needed anymore.
This still makes you vulnerable while you’re guiding.
By the time you spend your Vikhr load, FnF helicopters are already firing their 3rd salvo.
thats not what i was talking about though.
thats a an exageration, but the drawback there is that spikes and parse are slow as fuck and just as inaccurate. vikhrs are accurate and fast and can actually hope to hit stuff from max range.
What’s your point then ?
It’s actually not that much far from being realistic.
Vikhrs are accurate as you’re guiding them, but they trade a lot in flexibility for that.
FnF helicopters simply are a better option for A2G.
its fairly unrealistic in so much as spikes being inaccurate as fuck.
i simply dont see that when theyre so inefficient and easy to kill.
if it was back when ka52 was top tier i wouldnt say it so outright, but the Ldircm definetly puts the mi28nm on top.
You fire 8/16 really quickly, land and rearm.
By the time you loaded another load, Vikhr helicopter already had to dodge half a dozen of missiles and did nothing important.
FnF helicopters are harder to kill from the ground.
Putting a helicopter on top that can be hard countered by years old AAs is hilarious.
thats the main threat these days. fox 3s are inconsistent as fuck against helicopters, imaging missiles are the strongest threat
which nobody plays cause they suck massive balls against fixed wing aircraft. and the only ones that are played just happen to be the ones on the nations that have ldircm helis. the ito90 being the exception as the elde currently isnt great. and another problem for helis used to be spikes and maverics, which also happen to be easily countered by the new ldircm.
That’s on you to be honest.
If the T90M gets a buffed reload so should the Chinese tanks like ZTZ99A. We have video footage of the ZTZ99A reloading under 7 seconds but Gaijin still refuses to change it
F&F helis are not that good. Spikes or Pars are weak, damage wise. Alot tanks have hardkill systems and SPAA’s just shoot down these rather slow missiles. Mavericks, Spike, Pars…over the last weeks I had no luck. They always getting shot down. With this new radar overlay its easy to do. The only working system are these very fast moving and agressively lofting KH-38. Everything else is currently not worth the incredible amount of spawn points.
Additionally Gajin upped the BR of most modern aircraft and helis above max BR of ground units. This lead me to just remove things like the Eurofighter, F-18 Hornet and Tiger UHT from my lineup. I treat it mainly as ground game and usually spawn ground units. Its not advisable to include air assets with BR’s above 12.0 in your lineup. Just forget all these. Its far better to play at max BR ceiling of 12.0 BR. You get alot downtiers and you save spawn points (one of these 13.0 GRB jets costs 800-900 spawn points with ordnance, which is crazy). Even the once nice Tiger UHT heli is not worth it. You’d up the whole lineup to 12.3 BR. I think its not worth it. If you stick to 12.0 lineups without over BR’ed air assets, you have really nice matchmaking with alot downtiers. The chance that you ever face KH-38 jets is rather low as well (they’re mostly 13.0).
