Like sprut
They both deserve to be the same br if other one gets up tiered
jet obj 292 is the worst offender
m60-2000 got 0 armor compared to it and is a 1 shot…
Except 120S reloads faster so can kill more tanks in same time than obj292 and has very good thermals
YE AS long as all crew members are alive…
which is hard to maintain when you have the speed of a schoolbus and armor wise are the same
meanwhile 292 has better all around armor better gun with a reload that won’t go higher because of dead crewmember …
So HSTVL to 11.7, Strf 9040C to 10.3, and Begleit to 9.7. Unless you mean 2S38 to 10.3 which I’ll agree on.
M3A3 and Strf 9040 BILL to 10.3/10.7.
T-72B and T-80UD are effectively identical…
T-80UD and T-72B should be 10.3 alongside 292 IMO.
The 292 can be 10.3 due to how powerful the gun is, but the T-72B… it’s overall worse than the T-64B IMO and the extra few mm of armor doesn’t really offset the lousy sight zoom and the losing that one degree of gun depression, imagine the T-72B is at the same br as the Moderna lol. The 1989 also a mediocre tank at best, none of them could hold their on when it comes to fighting the Leopard 2 except the 292.
T-72B is the most armored tank at 10.0, 2nd to none.
T-80UD is the 2nd most armored tank at 10.0.
Except it’s not tall as a house, and has a low profile. Sure it can’t take a lot of damage, but in some cases, if just your turret is exposed, you can tank a shot sometimes. I’ve had instances where a well placed shot made the breech yellow and killed the gunner, only for the commander to immediately murder me. No armor is best armor sometimes with a lack of spalling…
Furthermore
Useless on close quarters combat, only helpful in large open maps for getting to positions. The Sprit can still do this while being helpful in tight maps and not having a restricted turning circle.
Both have good high generation gunner and commander thermals. Sprut has same generation I think.
Spruts is still faster with a better round. Also gets a mean tandem warhead gun launched Atgm that can deal with light targets via over pressure
The Sprut is more practical. It also has Hydropneumatic suspension, meaning you can make artificial gun depression if need be, as well as making an even lower profile. It’s simply an extremely strong vehicle for its battle rating, on a very decent chassis. It also has a reverse gear. The striker isn’t all too similar to it in many regards, and probably isn’t a good comparison.
Kvt?) You have tank which better in almost EVERYTHING than 80ud and still complain. Typical natoboy.
Since when a vehicle the size of nato-tank is low profile? Sprut is 30-60 centimeters taller than Abrams(depending on source).
The M1 Abrams (10.3) is inferior to T-80UD (10.0) in both ammunition and armor.
M774 is not completely useless, but very close. Definitely feels anemic for the battlerating.
3BM42 is significantly better.
At 500m the T-80UD can penetrate the M1’s lower front plate, turret-ring, breech, and turret cheeks. While the screenshot only shows one of the M1’s cheeks as green, both can be penetrated at this range.
At the same distance the M1 can penetrate the T-80UD’s lower front plate, driver hatch, turret-ring, and breech.
As you can see from the screenshots, the size of the relevant “weakspots” differ between the M1 and T-80UD. The T-80UD has the advantage of a smaller LFP, comparatively lower profile turret-ring, and less prominent gun breech. The weakspots on the M1 cover virtually the entire tank, while the T-80UD has slivers of green in some spots.
In short, the M1 has strong spots, while the T-80UD has weakspots.
Assuming a 1v1 between these two, the M1 has to aim carefully for weakspots, while the T-80UD can reliably penetrate the M1 anywhere but the UFP.
Say what you will about mobility, reload, and thermals (gen 1 is trash anyway), the T-80UD is superior to M1 Abrams in both armor and ammunition, two very important stats while also being 0.3 BR lower.
Edit: T-80UD penetrates the UFP aswell…
The biggest strength of the T-80UD might not even be the tank itself, but the ludicrously under-tiered lineup it is part of…
The ZSU with Iglas is already at 9.7 and is functionally a better LAV-AD with less reloads, the strela going up is fine as long as that thing exists.
He was comparing the striker and sprit. The sprout has a lower profile. The Hydropneumatic suspension also helps even further, but not too much.
Sprut and Sprut SDM1 cannot increase their gun depression by using the adjustable suspension like Type 90, MBT-70 and Strv-103 can. Sprut can only increase or reduce ground clearance (how much space is between the bottom of the hull and the ground).
Trust me, if they could; these tanks would end up 11.7 BR just from me playing them. Poor depression is one of the things that makes the tank awkward.
Not at all, mostly came from the horendous vertical aiming speed, which is worse then T-34, it’s the same case as T-90A (not S like the Bishma), either they butchered it to fit the BR gap or if it’s really follow the stat IRL, then it gonna be stayed there but T-90A need a fix for the FCS and bring it to 11.3 easily, like the 2S25M.
I saw someone claim that the T-90A has -6 gun depression, is that true?
- Mobility: Worse
- Firepower: For close range, the same. For the missile, 9M39 is one of the worse AA missile ever implemented, it’s suck since the dominant of Ka-50 and it’s not even reach the G overload of FIM-92K
- Radar suck, no thermal, poor survivial ability
Yet claim it’s better.
The stat they used and the source Gaijin public is from T-90S, the very bad T-90S modification.
Right now T-90A wrong with:
- Wrong turret rotation speed and vertical aiming speed, it should be the same as T-72B3 and T-80BVM, proof ? T-80UE-1 uses the same T-90A FCS and that thing smooth like T-80BVM.
- Wrong gun depression angle, should -6 like the T-90M
- Wrong armor since they recycle T-72B armor and slap new turret to it because T-90 armor still classified
Damn I hope they fixed this then keep it at 10.7 bro LOL
