T72B3 "Arena" BR Topic(It should not be 11.0)

They’re at best a sidegrade to the T-90A straight worse than the T-72B3 UBH, higher top speed is all they have over the latter

I alreayd sold it years ago lol for like 120
now it’s 600 odds

They’ve got the LWS, they’ve got better mobility, armour layouts , better ammo choices as well.

ooo (so does T-90A)

not exactly due to the longer gear ratios, their acceleration is worse on most ground types and it’s flat worse than the UBH

absolutely not and I don’t know why you would even think that

ooo proxy round ooo (with +14 of gun elevation)

no, they’re not that exceptional

Please re-read my sentence and reply again.

should be 12.0

Sure, once our current 12.0s move to 13.0.

Says the man who’s got a better KD in the ZTZ than the damn T90?

1.55 for T90A

2.07 for the ZTZ 99 III? xD

1.85 for the 99 II .

Cause the actual composite layout as well as the ERA on the ZTZs works more effectively than the T90? while they have a larger LFP width wise the actual tanks are somehwhat lower.

The T90A is worse than teh ZTZ 99II and III .

Because I played the T-90A exclusively at top tier with the Mi-28NM
It’s always been more fun up there than with TURMS AV and other premium animals, even if the tank isn’t uber competitive

on every metric what you said is wrong except the larger LFP, the armour coverage is worse, the side armour is thin enough to let some of the new autocannons get through at higher angles and the turret is no where near as strong. The only real reason to take the 99s over the T-90A is the better gun handling and higher top speed on larger maps. The two are as equals as you can find between 2 different tanks in 2 tech trees.

Pretty sure the ARENA APS or any sort of APS should be able to stop an AASM (or similar systems) since afterall AASMs are still classic bombs with MASSIVE explosive capacity I guess ?!

If anyone can prove otherwise please explain (with proofs only, if you don’t have any just go look for some online ^^)

APS can stop hammers/AGM-65/Kh38.

The problem for the T-72B3 arena is that it’s vertical scan angles are too limited to really detect/intercept them.

I don’t see how an APS can totally intercept a 250Kg+ bomb going Mach 0.9 less than 10 meters away from a vehicle without it being destroying with it tbh…

IRL? Oh yeah you are right, the vehicle and especially the crew would not have a good time if the APS intercepted a bomb/AGM that close.

But Gaijin’s bomb/AGM implementation is just weird. I have even intercepted Kh38s/hammers with my tank itself with almost 0 permanenet damage.

Then we have an agreement lol

His mobility is too poor. If he pushes forward, he simply can’t withdraw from the battlefield in time. After playing these past few days, he keeps getting easily penetrated by Japan’s 90B.

Ok, things have improved a little bit since we last talked. Now that I think it can go to 11.3 without much issue, it is an overall better vehicle than the T-90A based on my playstyle. I also learned to turn the turret to intercept missiles when one side runs out of charges, one time managed to eat all the Spikes from two CRV block.

Just my two cents.
