T72-M1 >> Gajins problem in one tank esplained

New updates are released regularly, which is good and important.
New units, new textures for maps, and cockpits are added regularly.

What’s almost nonexistent, however, is the fixing of existing bugs or real progress in the game.

This is perfectly illustrated by the T72-M1. I took the time to look through both the bug reports and the forum posts on Discord, Steam, and here. Essentially, these boil down to an inaccurate ammunition storage that doesn’t explode on a direct hit, and the fact that a critical hit through the right front wheel (as with a Moderna or a TURMS, for example) has only a <50% chance of destroying the tank. The tank itself is good, no question. The tank is also well-balanced in terms of BR and its other stats.

However, these two massive bugs are (a) not being fixed and (b) remain unaddressed. And this has been the case for countless updates.

Result: We simply get new content, new units, new textures. But that’s all there is to it, and that’s how it will always be.

Challenger chassis even has fake geometry. It’s not a major but it’s incorrect, turret ring on the Abrams is insufficient but that’s more damage model and missing spall liners everywhere amongst many machines.

I really hope they buff every nation that faces Russia now or nerf BMPT damage models because everything above 10.0 isn’t worth touching in ground RB anymore. 3 minute wipe games are out of control.

Won’t be too hard just give old TOW2 back, old Star-Streak back, adjust to correct Brimstone fire and forget.
Add correct IFV APDS penetration values, like the correct value for the CT40 cannon at 190mm APFSDS with 140mm RHA penetration at 1500meters. It’s not off by much but it’s enough.

Reduce RELICKT against MBT APFSDS rounds especially the side armour blocks at least.

Increase hardness of the most modern Western IFV armour plates, take into account electro forged or modern metallurgy practices.

Even if the BMPT’s weapons mounts were a bit more fragile, find a balance but currently they are too immune to damage.

They’ve got a lot of stuff on the go so I hope they address this soon before it starts haemorrhaging players.
I haven’t been happy with their balance for 4 years at 10.0+ GRB.

Apache radar still doesn’t function… it should have many targets cued up but it just picks one at random. nowhere near where you are aiming.

Realign weapon sights and weapons that got spread out for nerfing purposes.

Part of the problem is they fundamentally think a lot of their stuff is correct when it’s outright sabotaged if you do enough research or they simply apply historic realism here but not there, where need to pick a lane of consistency.

huh? that doesnt sound right. T-72M1 is basically a copypaste T-72A. Never had nor saw problems with destruction of that tank. Chances of explosion are chances for a reason, they are dependent on crew skills and tank state.
