Okay, so, I’ve noticed that people are talking about the Japanese Ho-Ri how it is too low, it’s reaload is too quick, how it shouldn’t even exist cuz it’s not historical, it’s all made up, etc. Yet I don’t see almost anyone talking about how ridiculous and unrealistic is the HESH round on T58. Let me clarify. The HESH shell from what I know was developed in Britain to be used against heavy armor/fortifications without making “a hole” / penetration. It was supposed to “splash” and explode on the surface making the other side shatter into shrapnels. I’m not saying this is the 100% accuracy of how it was designed, developed and used, but pure basics and if I’m wrong, feel free to correct me. From what I can find on the internet as a casual user with enthusiasm for history, it struggled agains side skirts, when the round didn’t do almost anything. So, according to this I’m asking, how come the T58 HESH shell in game 1 shots everything with almost 100% consistency when shot into the tracks? I’m personally playing heavy vehicles like Obj 279 and so on, and I don’t think it should destroy a tank designed to withstand a nuclear blast when shot into the tracks with 2.6 sec. reaload. I know Gaijin balances tanks/planes based on players stats, but this is nonsense.
