i actually think that its fine at 9.0, but its really dumb that gaijin didnt do any decompression in that br range (bmp3 is STILL 9.0 lmao)

yet im not the one with the bottom tier takes, what does that make you?

what are you even talking about then

Learn how to play it… it is a very dominant tank. At first it may be hard but if you learn how to use it the right way you will win and 0.3 BR isn’t a big deal.

BMP-3 is fine at 9.0BR

We also need Decompression from 6.7 and upwards still.

Oh you have had plenty of those, but even a broken clock shows the right time twice a day.

I’m not scrolling back for half an hour, but your Shir 2 takes and the 9.7 BR changes (iirc where you said that the T-64B was somehow the strongest 9.7 mbt before the BR changes) had some very “interesting” takes.

The Shir 2 was stupidly strong at 9.7 and the T-64B was never even remotely close to being the best 9.7 MBT before the BR changes. Unless you were trying to ragebait people then, in which case you did a pretty decent job in those threads.

It would be interesting if gaijin decompressed all the Br, but then making a historical Br depending mainly on the dates of entry into service of the vehicles and the ammunition they carried in reality. For example, in this matter, if the T-55AM-1 is Br 9.0, the Chieftain Mk10 being better should be Br 9.3 or 9.7, since at the end of the day both are tanks from the 80s. It would also be good if the 3BM25 were given the real penetration, especially at 60 °.

you can disagree, but the t64bv was and still is absolutely overpowered, its absolutely not worse than t72 turms at 10.0 br, and in a vaccum i would agree that the shir 2 and t64bv are not very far apart, and imo t64bv is better but you do you. this is as far as im discussing this in this topic as it s offtopic.

theyre equal tanks. t55am/d 1 is in no way shape or form compressed at 9.0 its perfectly good and inline with other 9.0 tanks.

I know that both are tanks with their pros and cons, but I still think the Chieftain Mk10 is a little better thanks to the APDS-FS, which in my opinion has a somewhat more reliable damage than the missiles. The pros of the Chieftain Mk10 would be the APDS-FS, somewhat better turret protection and better depression. While the T-55AM-1 has better mobility and a missile with great penetration. As I said before, it would be interesting if they added the realistic penetration of the 100mm 3BM25, so the AM-1 and AMD would receive a bullet with somewhat better penetration at both 0 and 60º, and giving it the ability to pierce the M60 without problems.

120mm is more dmg
Way better penetration
More mV
Double gun depression
Almost double reverse speed
Way better turret armor
Almost double turret traverse speed

It isn’t overpowered. It just has classic skill check attributes which makes it overpowered against bad players and weak against good players.

Same was the case for the T-55AM-1, but the promblem with that thing is that it got to bully 7.7-8.3 waay too hard.

You are absolutely right, but they are not huge advantages to say that it cannot compete. For example, both the Tiger 2b and the T44 are Br 6.7, when the T-44 can not pierce the Tiger 2b from the front, but the Tiger 2b can pierce the T-44 in the turret without problems, so the player who carries the T-44 if he meets a Tiger 2b will have to look to flank it or if they have not seen him wait to shoot from the side. In the case Chieftain Mk10 vs T-55AM-1 the victory will depend mainly on the situation of how they are, and that will depend more on the player than the tank, since in an open field without obstacles, and with both in front, the one who shoots first will win, regardless of who pierces more, or who reloads more, or who has more reverse, etc., and it is because although they have different advantages, but one has an advantage in many more things, it is still the same almost equivalent tanks.
Another point on the subject is that, just as the 3BM25 needs its real penetration, the Chieftain Mk10 has to carry the L23A1.
