if i’m not mistaking the m6 was made by british standard for the british and the t1e1 should have been the american version of the vehicle.
What? The m6 is the production version the US uses the letter T for prototypes and pilot vehicles before they switch over to using X

A +1 from me, honestly. Being a joint project and all, they should have added it to both the US and the UK. That said, I really wish Bovington would let the US have the T14 back; it would be neat to see it as part of the Armor and Cavalry Collection. As opposed to it sitting in storage

Nah, unlike the T14 the T1/M6 was completely an American program. They did offer some vehicles to the British, but these were never shipped. At one point the British even hypothesized putting a 17-Pdr into the T1/M6.
I don’t mean to sound rude, genuine question here, but why should they send it back? The US made 2 of them. They sent one to the UK and decided to scrap theirs.
More so, my thought was that the thing isn’t even on display and has sat in the museum’s reserve collection for at least a decade. If they’re not going to display it, perhaps they might be interested in trading it for something equally unique. There are quite a few ultra-rare, near-unobtanium things the US has in its storage yards that might tickle Bovington’s fancy. So, i.e., it helps fill a gap in the US’s own preservation record, and Bovington could get a unique tank that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to acquire.

Brit here, I don’t see why either of these options wouldn’t be a correct option but I don’t agree with just copying and pasting a unique premium into another tree. It doesn’t achieve anything. Britain 4.7 is already good and anyone who wants to experience the T14 can do so with no grind at a very low price. We accomplish nothing by adding this to Britain.

The Americans had interest in using it too which is why two tanks where made.
It just so happens that both nations didn’t want it in the end.
So for that reason the nation that actually wasted its resources, Design time and labor on building it should have it.

If one ended up in America (and was scrapped) and one ended up in the UK in reality, I see no reason for that not to be the case ingame other than pure selfishness.
It was scrapped only after the war had been over for years in the 50’s.
What, Should every tank be removed from the tree that made it because they didn’t see a reason to keep a horribly outdated prototype around?
By that logic then the Americans should get the Ho-Ro because they have the only surviving one left.
I don’t think the American T-14 should be removed, merely that the British tree should get one like the Ram II.
Giving it to Britain will allow it to be moved up
maybe it should honestly be 5.0 but because of current compression it cant as 6.0s kill it with no problem

-1, there is no need for a copy paste premium for Britain. There are plenty of heavy tanks for Britain, especially around 4.7.
I would give a +1 to the 57mm version, it would be unique and fill the heavy tank premium niche for GB at that tier. But otherwise it should be kept as is.
So the British one has a slightly different turret ring hitbox because of the repositioned traverse mechanism then? Ig that’s something different.
I feel like I also saw something somewhere about differences in engine governing between US tests and when it was sent to the UK, but I’m not totally sure of that.

Look, you’re not going to change my opinion on this. I wholeheartedly, fundamentally disagree that this will add anything of value to the game whatsoever. If people want to play the T14, they can. adding it to a second tree dilutes the matchmaker and makes the vehicle less unique. That’s a lose lose. I’m already sick to death of copy paste bogging this game down. I’d rather they fionish adding the unique vehicles we don’t yet have and turn their focus to giving us new game modes.
