T-90MS *2025. Is there a difference from the T-90M at this point?
Is the ERA on the side any different to the current bag ERA?

just steel case replaced original bag case when comparing side ERA.
but difference of T-90M(2025) is on installing Arena APS compared to previous version. And when compared to T-90M ingame, it also has additional ERA on lower plate of front hull.

The ERA on the side is the model ‘Relict’, due to the packing. Likely this variant is dedicated to export, yet can be employed to national forces, I believe the main focus on this variant is to fix some issues regarding mobility and addition chemical protection and as you can see huge improvements against bomb and scout drones unit.

Is engine same as the in game T90M?

It has something on top which looks like a remote system, but being Russian it’s encased under a drone cage…perfect thought process there. Probably the same old carousal shell system, which is susceptible to turret/engine deck hits by drones.

It’s an export T90M… with drone protection because that’s what a modern army will face in conflict.
If a drone manages to hit the armoured carousel on the floor of the tank then good on them. But again, any tank is susceptible to this. I don’t see your point here…
My point is they haven’t learned anything after 3 years of conflict.
