So i’ve been playing 10.3br russia for a while and i dont see a reason to not move the T-90A to 10.3 while removing its access to 3BM60. So lets take a look at the T-90S Bhishma in the UK techtree, its almost the same but has just the 3BM42. And if not the T-90A going down in br, we should see the T-90S Bhishma at 10.7 just like the T-90A but then it would receive the 3BM60 round. + Russia doesnt have a proper 10.7br line up.

I play the italian AMX which is also 10.7 with 10.3 tanks and its basically just the 10.3 match maker but you cant see 9.3. I think ive only played 2-3 11.7 games with a 10.7 lineup

That’s because several vehicles that should be 10.7 like the 292 and and 2S38 aren’t, there’s also the Mi-35M and 2S6 which are 10.7 and vehicles like the BMP-2M and 2S25M which will still work here.
T-90A is fine.
A foldered T-90S would be pretty neat as a 10.7 backup though.

T-90A is not fine but I also don’t think a BR change can fix that.
There’s a couple dozen vehicles that min/max certain stats which make them either impossible to balance or unsuited to the game’s meta.
It’s a divisive topic and I’m not 100% certain on it myself, but some vehicles not being suited to the meta is something we might just have to live with.
The fact that it uses an autoloader means Gaijin can’t change the reload rate to 6 seconds either, which would help the T-90A out massively.

If it gets 3BM60 removed and keeps 3BM46, it should stay at 10.7
The T-90S Bishma has 3BM42 at 10.3 and it works just fine. The T-90A seemingly over preforms at 10.7 with the top tier round and armor protection it has.
You want gen 2 thermals, insane armor, and 3BM46 + PPS to be fighting 9.3 tanks?
Yeah… Me and my Leo 1A5 are perfectly fine

Similarly, you want a tank with abysmal acceleration, no reverse, terrible reload rate, nonexistent survivability, no neutral steering, garbage turret traverse, horrendous gun elevation speed and poor top speed to fight Strv 122’s?

The T-90A is a weird one, a few people here are noting it’s great armour but I feel like it’s armour is a bit naff. Has the exact same armour layout as the 10.0 T-72’s in practice, with great cheeks and UFP, but the same LFP, drivers hatch, breech and idler wheel weaknesses of all the other Soviet tanks.
It’s firepower and auxiliary systems are where it stands out, with a top tier round, decent thermals, LWS and IRCCM.
Mobility is meh at best.
T-90A is just T-72B (K5) but with thermals, better engine, jammer (useless), and better shell. It didnt fixed its main problems - reverse speed and gun handling.
Leo 2 on other team is already scarier and frustrating to fight against, since we got even more 2a4 for finland and italy that can play against your team. But i get your point

Tbf, the drivers port on the T-90 is near impossible to pen for some reason, unlike with the T-80s and T-72s.

They can just add a 10.3 T-90S with 3BM42 to the USSR tree, no reason to change the T-90A.

I 100% agree with this
I had a lot of fun playing the T-90A at 10.7, and it does have the 2S6 to go with it. Instead of moving it down because it doesn’t have a lineup, introduce other tanks to 10.7 or leave it as is, because moving the T-90A would make the Tunguska become pointless.
10.7 is a massive hole for pretty much every country in game, besides China and Russia. More tanks should go there instead of moving the ones there down.
Honestly not a bad idea. the 3BM60 is too good anyway. Im happy with a lower pen round for a 10.3 lineup.
