not really, its not comparable to MSC, the armor on T80B is already paper if you arent downtiered and the only other thing it has is 6s reload and decent mobility which is still worse mobility than m1 or 2a4 or MSC or etc

Then move the MSC down to Br 10.7 cause its armor is paper aswell.
MSC is objectively better than 2A4 in most aspects other than breech and LFP armour (and arguably hull / turret survivability)
To be fair, it does get a much better round than the M1, 2A4, and maybe even the MSC.
Better turret survivability, ESS, and round for worse gun handling, reverse speed, hull survivability, and gun depression than the MSC?

In my humble opinion when i last used MSC noted, before bmpt.
It was definitely worthy of 11.3.
Though the hold back could be the round.
Though that always comes back to decompression, somehow sepv3 is same br as the m1a2 sep.

At all, its armour is surprisingly good to be fair for what it is.

I think MSC should be at most 0.3 BR different to 2A4.
Maybe they’d be the same BR if the 2A4 got 120mm DM33.

Hull survivability is better than T-80B, yes.
Hence why I said T-80B has worse hull survivability.
Although T-80B gets frontal fuel tanks which can sometimes absorb spall and make your dart do nothing (even with the T-80B’s vertical ammo layout).
I mean, along with the turret survivability and ESS, I’d say there may be a case for it.
Against <10.7 darts (like M774, 3BM42, DM23, 105mm DM63) I agree, but against 11.0+ darts (like 3BM60, TAPNA, M900, L26, 120mm DM33), I’d say the T-80B’s turret crew survivability is better since it can’t get one-shot through the right-cheek ammo rack.
Yes, that is true, but it still can be useful nonetheless – even at top tier where everyone has access to thermals.

You think so? The msc when i finally got used to it seemed far stronger.
But tbh the 2a4 should get its dm33 or 43 and shift up, create some decompression

Hull armour is better against 120mm DM23, 105mm DM33, M833, L23A1, and M774. Though you are right that both have practically no armour against anything better.
At least it gets fuel tanks on the front too.
