Now that the t-72b3a is coming to war thunder, why not also add the t-90m with arena-m in the future? Also the vehicle being 12.0 is kind of a downer 😔

Aps doesn’t give that much protection against common munitions: apfsds. Sure, the heli atgm’s and spikes would be neutralized but those aren’t common
Wouldn’t be surprised. Still, also, would love the actual T-72B3A (the one with Relikt ERA in hull), preferably as a module
Also airborn ordinance. Although those more angle sensitive - Arena-M’s +100 degree should cover this nicely

Also what was the horizontal coverage of the aps?
It should I think. At least per game logic if speed allows. At very least I know GL6 (the APS of VT-5) can intercept Kh-38 (I know it anecdotal, but I did survive the few times those things were raining)

Yeah, my mistake, mixed horizontal with vertical. Still, +40 is pretty nice (for comparison: GL6 is -10/+50 and Iron Fist is -15/+55)
Not bad aps tbh, compared to trophy this has 6 more charges with better reaction speed and vertical traverse
Wil it not have the Relikt armour as an upgrade?

I mean, it already has relikt side era from get go
APS is nice to have and on a pretty good platform like the T-72B3 it is a cool upgrade.
Compared to CR2 BN which while the APS is better the underlying armour quality is that of an 8.7
Wdym underlying? The composite on hull is like 500mm, which will absorb stock shells like the 3bm42. Sure it has weak spots, but so does every other tank in the game

Yes CR2 has composites on the front plate but it also has huge weaknesses
On dev stream it (modifications screen) wasnt shown, so cant say for sure
In fact, any tank with more than 150mm of pen can pen t-72b3. Just have to nitpick weak spots
