T-72B3A (Arena-M): 4-Lines of Defense

Sad :(

A second T-72B3A?

I don’t think it ever was seen in that armor configuration. Interesting.

Scratch that, forgot about in 2015 it was shown.

On dev, it’s called the T-72B3M. The one you showed could be a premium version that’s coming.

Its still an overall downgrade to even the T-80U.

Because it cant reverse and Russian mains often overextend and can’t reverse out of trouble.

In the dev server its quite nice

Reverse speeds go way beyond just “overextending”.

i wonder why this isnt close yet

I wonder if this will be the stock configuration, with Relikt side panels being a modification.

B3A is a newer vehicle right?

It’s fairly recent, yes.

It should be able to get the modifications, iirc it gets a few different ones.

Reverse speeds are needed to get back behind cover when taking shots, 4km reverse means you are exposing yourself literally seconds longer than other tanks. For hull down spots this means your breach/turret are exposed for longer after firing, for peeking around corners or sides of hills this means your hull is exposed for longer. Its not just a detriment for getting in bad positions, it makes good positions worse to play in.

Does the publisher of the bug report want to nerf it or buff it ?

Not really you all drive towards the spawn get hit and then need to reverse behind a hill.

That is the only reason players prefer the BVM to the T-90M

Nope, using buildings, terrain for cover. Any time you have to shoot an enemy, you’re exposing your vehicle to return fire. And reverse speeds are critical for moving in and out of cover. Dealing damage and covering before anyone can respond.

Its like saying the Type 10 autoloader is only good if you overextend. No, its good all the time, in every situation.

Players prefer the BVM because its a clear upgrade. As are the T-80U’s.
